Eagle Bay Inn

Very nice place in good condition. Clean and spacious rooms. Tea station downstairs.

The stay was perfect until husband was approached by an elderly lady who asked him “How was your one night stand?”. Very inappropriate. Other than that I would recommend the stay.

While the exterior and location are fairly nondescript the staff and service were excellent. The rooms were clean and well maintained and I would stay there again.

Best for hospitality!!! Picked me up at the airport and took me to my cruise drop off too!!! What a great start for my wonderful Alaska vacation!!! Thank you!!!

The Eagle Bay Inn is a great place to stay in Sitka! It is far enough from the harbor that you will not be surrounded by cruise ship visitors unless you want to be. It is a short walk to the National Historical Park and Totem Trail, and a nice path through the park takes you downtown. The Sitka bus that runs to the Bear Sanctuary picks up in the parking lot of the historical park, and the Raptor Rehabilitation Refuge is only 20 minutes away. It is a short walk to the National Historical Park and Totem Trail, continental breakfast that includes a variety of breads and fresh fruits, and there is a small convenience store down the street located next to a brew pub with good beer and a limited variety of food options, including a Mexican food truck. Our room was spotlessly clean, but the Eagle Bay employees are the true standouts. Kyle picked us up at the airport and went out of his way to take us to meet my husband’s sisters, who had arrived on a cruise ship that day. Laila was helpful and friendly, while Vicky, the owner and manager, behind her sweet grandmotherly demeanor, is an Alaskan woman of steel who makes that whole thing run like clockwork. Do not doubt the truth of what I say. Our only complaint was that the lobby TV was always on fake Fox News, which is never a good way to start a day.

Owner very helpful and knowledgeable about local sites and places to see offered to take us anywhere and call her. She pick us up one of a kind.

Strongly recommend Eagle Bay Inn! Our room was very clean and comfortable. The Staff was AWESOME! They went out of their way to do whatever they could to ensure our stay was enjoyable! Enjoyed meeting Vickie! She was wonderful! They made excellent recommendations for dining, shopping and excursions. The Breakfast bar was neat, clean and well stocked. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Owner was great and accommodating. Shower was good, rooms clean and homey. Don’t let the exterior fool you, this was a great place.
