The hotel is only 5 mins by taxi to the ferry terminal or a relatively short 15 min walk, and about 3 mins walk from JR station (get off at JR station in case you are taking the bus from Wakkanai airport). The breakfast option was decent with typical seafood as expected from Hokkaido. What I really like the hotel is the open air, top flooronsen and friendly staff who stands ready to help customers, nothing that I can really complaint. I may consider to come back again in the future.

Nice location near major sightseeing spots. Room is a bit old but overall service is good.

I arrived in Wakkanai past midnight. The hotel is super close to Wakkanai Station; you can see its lights just a couple steps outside. Very convenient. The room was quite spacious with a separate wet and dry area for the bathroom.

The hotel staff provided excellent service. The facilities are comprehensive, including a hot spring, complimentary drinks and popsicles, as well as late-night snacks and welcome jelly. The room size was quite generous, and the layout was well-designed.

Facilities: A very new and clean hotel. Ambiance: A very Japanese-style hotel. The outdoor bath in the public bathhouse is excellent. Service: The front desk staff didn't speak much English, and their attitude was a bit stiff. There was an additional charge for children, and the communication was problematic. The old man who checked me in kept trying to charge me in different ways, first saying it was for an extra bed, then calling it some other additional fee. Sigh. Late-night noodles: Very good, could eat several bowls.

Hotel staffs are friendly. Room space is quite small but clean. Location is close to ferry terminal to Rishiri Island. Breakfast is good and served from early morning (5:30 am).

I'm a frequent Dormy Inn stayer. Mt favourite is the onsen and sauna provided and as usual it's no disappointment this time as well.

This is the third time in Dormy Inn Wakkanai. Excellent stay. The Late night ramen is the best among all other Dormy Inn, I usually only have one time, but this trip, I continually eating for three nights, I seldom do this honestly. The female chef preparing the ramen is extremely friendly and efficient, the noodle just cooked to perfect state. Front desk staff plus the carparking gentleman are all very friendly and helpful. Many thanks Dormy Inn Wakkanai.
