The Silveri Hotel Hong Kong – MGallery Collection(Accor Group)

I've stayed at several different hotels around Hong Kong Airport, and Silver is definitely one of the top contenders overall. First off, it's right above Citygate Outlets, making shopping and getting around incredibly convenient, including walking distance to Ngong Ping 360. Secondly, the staff's service is warm and highly professional, which is something I'm very particular about. Lastly, the room size is quite generous for Hong Kong standards, and there's a small-ish sofa bed that works perfectly for an emergency overnight stay. Initially, I thought the lack of an airport shuttle would be inconvenient, but once you discover the S1 bus, it becomes incredibly reliable and easy. A special note: the S1 bus's arrival and departure points at Tung Chung Terminus are not in the same location.

From check-in at the front desk to entering the room, everything felt exquisite and spacious. The high ceilings in the room were particularly comfortable. All the amenities were well-equipped, and it was a one-stop shop for transportation and shopping. The breakfast was also richer and tastier than expected. Overall, I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it; it offers great value for money!

Every staff member I encountered provided excellent service, making me feel comfortable and well-cared for. I'm especially grateful for their persistent effort in replacing the HDMI cable – a heartfelt thank you for that! The hotel's location right above the mall is incredibly convenient, and it's also very accessible for trips to Disneyland.

The privacy here is superb! Each room has its own private elevator access, and the double-pane windows and thick wooden doors make it incredibly quiet. I love it! 🥰 I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

To anyone thinking of booking this hotel, stop right now!!!! 1. Worst drainage system in the world (the smell of sewage filled the entire elevator, deadly for those sensitive to odors!) 2. Worst bathroom facilities in the world (be careful when showering, it's either freezing cold or scalding hot, impossible to predict) 3. Worst breakfast in the world!!!!! 4. Room prices fluctuate wildly (like seafood prices) 5. Extremely poor air conditioning and ventilation system (you'll freeze if you turn it on, suffocate if you don't) and very humid. 6. 5-star prices for snobby service. If you only care about the hotel's convenient location for shopping and don't mind anything else, then fine, it is indeed convenient for transport and shopping.

The location is super convenient! You can directly access the hotel from the 3rd floor of Citygate Outlets mall. The environment is excellent!

The location is extremely convenient, with a shopping mall and restaurants directly downstairs, so there's no need to worry even if it rains. The MTR station is also directly accessible from the mall, making it quick to transfer to the MTR for Disneyland. The coffee shop inside the hotel has a good atmosphere and the staff are polite and friendly. However, the front desk staff, compared to hotel staff in other places, were rather cold and robotic, essentially making no eye contact with guests. The service in this area could definitely be improved.

I specifically chose this hotel, expecting a high-end experience from a premium Accor brand, but upon checking into the room, I found hairs and a torn bedsheet. For a supposedly high-end five-star hotel, this was disappointing. When I asked to change rooms, the staff member who accompanied us to inspect the new room discovered more hairs on the bed. For such a premium hotel, the hygiene standards are truly unacceptable and very disappointing.

I'm genuinely very satisfied. The room was clean and tidy, beautifully decorated, and even featured a wet and dry separation in the bathroom. What I liked most were the amenities; the toiletries were from Malin+Goetz, the toothbrush and room card were made of bamboo, the coffee was Nespresso capsules, and even the tea bags included chamomile in addition to black and green tea – very thoughtful. The front desk lady was polite and courteous. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be that you need to switch several elevators to get to the mall, and the door was too heavy for me to open.
