Holiday Inn Express & Suites TOPEKA WEST I-70 WANAMAKER by IHG

This was the best hotel of my recent week-long road trip across the country. It was clean, as Holiday Inns consistently are. I appreciated the larger sized refrigerator with a freezer section in the room and the included toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion. The staff was exceptionally friendly and really made my stay very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was very good and included eggs and quite tasty biscuits and gravy made with sausage. They also had good-sized coffee cups and invited guests to take coffee to go which I very happily accepted. The two ladies who were working at the breakfast buffet were absolutely delightful.

Overall the hotel was excellent, however, we could here the highway noise but it wasn't so loud that we couldn't fall asleep. Second, the parking lot and some nearby shrubs could use come TLC. Both of these are picky in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Great location. Staff was great. Breakfast was great. Everything was extremely clean even though some areas were older. Pleasantly surprised. We had a great stay.

Room was dated, old stain chairs in room. Tons of stains on the wall. Shower was a RV style shower stall. Staff was very friendly. I don’t think I would stay again but would do the job for a quick get in late leave early kind of stay

We checked in late at night and the staff and friendly and fast! Great breakfast in the morning. Clean rooms.

When we first walked into the lobby it smelled sooo clean. I was amazed. Got to our room and again. It was so clean. The breakfast was exceptionally good. The staff making the breakfast was extremely sweet. Even told us to take a muffin for our journey back home. Our room was one of the best I've ever stayed in.

Great stay just would really like my 75$ hold money back by now it’s been 5 days dang it

The front desk agent wasn’t friendly or knowledgeable. The rooms were outdated and in need of repair. The hotel is set back in an odd location. No one was at the front desk when I tried to check out in the morning.
