Tangtao Yard Hostel (Xiamen Gulangyu Fuxing Castle)

Thanks to Yangtao Courtyard, I now have high expectations for Gulangyu Island. The owner is incredibly nice, and the courtyard is elegant. If you want time to slow down and quietly experience this island, this is definitely the place to choose. Sip tea under the trees, watch cats, and look up at the longan trees – a true escape from the city.

I absolutely loved this guesthouse, which is a renovated old villa! The environment is so cozy and the room was clean and tidy. I really enjoyed their style. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and it's also very convenient to go for a stroll by the beach. I'll definitely choose Yangtao's place again next time!

After staying in a tatami room the day before, I was really impressed with the historic building's ambiance. The next day, I booked a loft, which also had its own unique charm, complete with a study where I could store my luggage. The front desk service was excellent, very thoughtful and attentive. I'll definitely consider staying here again when I visit Gulangyu.

This guesthouse truly deserves a great review! It's located on Gulangyu Island, with a very charming, retro ambiance. The front desk staff, especially the young man, was super nice. He told us that from the rooftop, you can see the entire Gulangyu skyline. The guesthouse is also right next to the pedestrian street, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining.

I had a very comfortable stay. The hotel building has a lot of history, and the front desk staff was incredibly kind. The room was clean and tidy, and the location was excellent, making it easy to get anywhere. They even thoughtfully provided a map. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance!

I booked this place because of its historical charm and the fact that Dou Wei once stayed here. It's not super close to the pier, but still manageable. The room's cleanliness was great, and the price was very reasonable. The bathroom amenities were complete, and it even included breakfast (though it was a simple one). It was truly pleasant to sit in the courtyard, but unfortunately, my itinerary was too tight, so I only stayed one night. Next time, I'll definitely stay for two more nights.
