The Niantic Inn

The Inn room was clean and the property well kept. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The location near the water was perfect.

Solid location, no real views of water- though very close to bench and boardwalk. Older units and site.

Perfect small town, beach-side hotel. Easy beach access right across the street. Great restaurants, ice cream spots and bakeries easy walking distance. Will return for sure.

The location of this inn was perfect, and the staff were super helpful. All of the recommendations were spot on! We highly recommend this quaint little inn.

Loved everything about our stay at the Niantic Inn and wish we had more time to stay. The area is gorgeous and very homey feeling. The Inn is well kept, the room was very spacious and cozy. Walkable places to eat all around and the beach is a short walk across the street. If we are in the area again this will be our go to.

Super friendly staff at check-in. Although our room was not ready (we arrived very early) staff called and texted to let us know as soon as it was. Room was clean and spacious

I was impressed with the cleanliness of our room. I would gently suggest installing grab bars in the showers though.

This place is a safety and security nightmare! I was getting into town later than anticipated, so I called earlier in the day to make sure that I would be able to check in between 9:30-10pm. The receptionist says, that's no problem. I arrive at the hotel at 9:45pm, and the door is locked. There are two phone numbers on the door. One goes unanswered. The second is answered, and I am told that someone on staff will come let me in. I wait and I get a call back saying that my "key" is in the drop box next to the door. So, I open the box and my FULL NAME, ROOM NUMBER, and KEY PAD CODE are all just fully available to anyone who may stroll by. So, anyone in town could come find out who I am, what room I'm staying in, and the key pad code to let themselves into my room. I wedged my chair under the door handle for the night, which didn't feel great, since this place also doesn't have fire sprinklers in the rooms. I loved downtown Niantic, but I will not be staying here a second time.

We had a lovely long weekend stay at this property at the end of March 2025. Our room was a very spacious efficiency. The wifi was good. There was plenty of parking available. We enjoyed being able to walk to nearby restaurants or go to the boardwalk. There is laundry available. There is no fitness area. Highly recommend.
