Qiyu Muhai Homestay (Laoshan Scenic Area Store)

Our stay was fantastic! It's a great place for families, very close to the beach, and the pool is excellent. The hotel facilities are all top-notch. They even included a complimentary travel photoshoot, which was a wonderful experience. The photographer was very patient. Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel! The location is fantastic, you can watch the sunrise over the sea right from your bed. The bedding is super comfortable, and the soundproofing is great – I fell asleep to the sound of the waves and had a deep, restful sleep. The owner is also wonderful and provides excellent service. I'll definitely be back!

1) The location is absolutely superb, offering an unobstructed 270-degree sea view right from your bed. It's incredibly quiet. 2) The amenities are comprehensive. The guesthouse has its own cafe and restaurant, so you can order your meal while you're out exploring and enjoy it as soon as you get back to your room. The seafood dumplings were exceptionally fresh. 3) The service was excellent. They thoughtfully provided a tea set and white wine glasses, which shows great attention to detail. 4) The breakfast spread was fantastic, a perfect blend of Chinese and Western dishes. 5) Overall, it's one of the few high-end, newly opened, top-tier guesthouses in the area, with a strong focus on service.

I usually take guesthouse ratings with a grain of salt, as some can be faked. But after experiencing this place firsthand, it truly is excellent! I hope they can offer a wider variety for breakfast in the future; I'd even be okay with a slight price increase, haha! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Our three-day, two-night trip was absolutely fantastic! It was incredibly convenient for the kids, as they could dig in the sand, play in the water, and go clamming right outside our door! The surrounding attractions are quite close, and the guesthouse is located within the scenic area itself. Plus, they offer meals, so you don't have to worry about what to eat. The room was clean and hygienic, which goes without saying. With sunsets and sunrises, the 270-degree sea view through the floor-to-ceiling windows was incredibly comfortable, offering an unobstructed panorama. This is truly a hidden gem, and I'll definitely choose it again next time!

Hygiene: It's clean and tidy, very well-ventilated overall. The disposable toiletries provided in the room are of high quality. Facilities: There's a mini-fridge, and the bedding is incredibly soft – I even asked the owner for a link to buy it! I slept so soundly, falling asleep to the sound of the waves was amazing. Service: The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, and the butler service group is responsive and answers promptly, ready to assist with any questions. They are truly friendly! It was a very satisfying check-in experience. From the warm greetings upon arrival to the enthusiastic farewells upon departure, the service was meticulous throughout. The room was spotlessly clean with great attention to detail. Highly recommended! The mini cakes were delicious too~

Traveling with my mom, I scoured through all the hotels in Laoshan, specifically looking for a sea view, private indoor hot spring, and a balcony. That's how I landed on this guesthouse. It's right on the beachfront, and the views on a clear day are absolutely stunning. You can literally watch the breathtaking sunrise from your bed, and the ocean glistens beautifully under the sun. The service was also quite good, the room was clean, and the soundproofing was excellent. We stayed for two days and kept looking forward to watching the sunrise every morning. It's more convenient if you come by car. I pre-booked a ride-hailing service because it's hard to catch a taxi otherwise. You can take bus 618 further up, but be aware that it might not stop if it's already full.

Service: The young lady at the front desk was very friendly and enthusiastic. She even gave us recommendations for local attractions and tours! Overall, our stay was a perfect 10.
