Governors Inn a Travelodge by Wyndham

We usually stay here on our way through. We got the suite for the room as we have twin toddlers. They were walking around on the carpet, which appeared clean, but when getting them ready for bed, the bottom of their feet were BLACK. Disgusting. We cleaned them up before bed. AC unit in living area was working hard but alas only kept the area humid and warm. Bedroom door didn't latch either. Stairwell of hotel had dirty and fraying carpet as well. Bedroom also smelled like someone smoked pot in there. Recommend getting rid of all that nasty carpet. This was by far the worst when staying here. Left an icky feeling when we left. Dirty not clean.

The mattress was shot. It should be replaced. The reception said she upgraded our room. But I booked a king not handicap and received a two queens handicap room. That is not an upgrade to me

Nice enough place for the money but not very clean in the room and the amenities were terrible :(

Room was very clean, staff was incredibly helpful. Property is a bit outdated, but perfect for a one night stay.

The room was great. It was very cheap. Breakfast was average. Waffle maker eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Staff was very helpful. Hot tub and pool were broken and being repaired.

Room ran about $100 first part of May; however, fitted sheet kept falling off the bed in the middle of the night and bed cover was not very appealing for comfort. Kleenex box fell right out of the wall. Hair left in the shower drain and it was stuck to the walls. Outlet missing cover. Curtain rod broken and pieces left in the room. The other room we had, the TV was broken and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut due to being broken all the way. Not the cleanest.

Very out dated. Did not receive any room service/cleaning for the 3 nights of my stay.

Breakfast was good. Room had not been cleaned very well, just needed a good vacuuming and the hide a bed was dirty. Could tell that had not been checked.

When we arrived the fellow greeting us seemed to be functioning as a child caregiver as well. There was a young girl (about 7 yrs old) there and the area inside the desk/check-in counter was messy, so not very professional.
