Angsana Laguna Phuket

I booked the rooms a long time ago, specifically selecting twin beds. However, when I finally arrived at the hotel late at night to check in, I was told that the two rooms I booked couldn't be arranged next to each other, which was already frustrating. On top of that, there were no twin rooms available at all. They could only arrange a room change the next afternoon at a specific time. There was no prior email notification, which is the least they could do when unable to provide the requested service. It was a real letdown, and no matter how good the environment is, it can't make up for it now.

Our two families were upgraded to a two-bedroom villa, which was quite nice with a large living room and a terrace. Even better was the service. Since we had a late flight, they specially arranged for us to check out at 6 PM. A big shout-out to YUDHA for the excellent service! The only minor downside was that part of the hotel was under renovation, but it should be even better once completed.

The atmosphere is great! Lots of activities to do, and the breakfast spread is incredibly varied and appetizing.

The staff were wonderfully friendly, but the facilities are old and not very clean. However, the location was great, being close to the night market, massage parlors, and many restaurants.

Excellent hotel! Wonderful service and caring staff! Especially Viktor, who recognized us from our previous stays, took our picture, gave us bracelets, and left them in our room. It was a very pleasant surprise.

The service was excellent; all my requests during check-in and throughout my stay were met. It felt very ceremonial, and Thai service truly is fantastic! 👍🏻 The room was a bit dated, but it didn't detract from the overall experience. The breakfast was also delicious. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance. **Environment:** The entire community boasts beautiful scenery with its own private beach. The designed gardens and platforms are also stunning.

The hotel boasts a wonderful tropical ambiance, complete with a lake and the sea right there. They offer free boat tours on two different routes, allowing guests to visit the neighboring hotel, which adds a unique touch to the experience. Service was generally good. Our room had lemon essential oil, which was very relaxing. We had a child with us and had to pay 450 baht per breakfast, but they kindly converted the sofa into an extra bed for free. Regarding facilities, it really depends on the age of the room. The newly renovated premium rooms have excellent facilities, but some older rooms have facilities that aren't quite as good. The hotel is literally a two-step walk to the beach, where the waves are gentle and the coastline stretches out beautifully. Cleanliness was generally tidy, comfortable, and well-maintained. Ctrip's customer service was truly impressive! When our room's air conditioning had issues, Ctrip helped us arrange a room change within about an hour. I'll definitely be booking hotels with Ctrip again for my next international trip; it gives me peace of mind.

Let me put it this way: I was curious about Laguna and wanted to explore it, but staying within the resort complex was incredibly inconvenient. The free boat service had no schedule, so we had no idea how to get around. The hotel is so massive that it's easy to get lost, and there are no clear signs to guide you. Also, I'm not sure why, but when I booked, it clearly stated three breakfasts were included, and it turned out to be no breakfast at all. I highly doubt I misread it. The check-in welcome ceremony was excellent though; the young man who assisted me left a fantastic impression! However, the hotel facilities are dated, and the drainage in the bathroom was poor. What I really want to emphasize is that I hope the hotel doesn't just focus on clearing fallen leaves and debris within its own grounds. Please do more to clean the beaches, especially beyond your immediate area, and organize regular beach clean-up activities. You could even involve guests as volunteers. I went out to clean the beach myself this morning. I truly hope the hotel will extend its efforts to protect and regularly clean other beaches, not just its own. During the rainy season, a lot of trash washes ashore, which is a real eyesore and quite upsetting. The natural environment here is undeniably beautiful, but staying here makes it feel very inconvenient to go anywhere. Perhaps it's because we just came from a top-tier hotel in Phuket, The Surin, so there was a slight drop in expectations. Overall, it's still good, and I hope it continues to improve.

I stayed at the Angsana Hotel in April and want to thank the staff for their warm and welcoming service. The reception area is spacious, with stunning lagoon views and decorated with orchids. The sprawling grounds are lush with greenery, featuring beautiful pathways and swimming pools. I especially loved the beachfront area — the Beach Club Xana, with its private pool, sun loungers, and bar. It was wonderful to spend time there and watch the sunset in such an atmosphere. Additionally, a two-story Italian restaurant was recently built on the beach. The only minor disappointment was the breakfast. It was quite modest, lacking hot meat or fish dishes, and the restaurant itself felt too small and noisy for the number of guests. Despite this, overall, my stay was incredibly pleasant and atmospheric!
