Viceroy Snowmass

Overnight parking fee extra $60. Pretty much mandatory because the valet people tell you them parking your car is your only option so there is no free parking with them. Front desk stated there website mentions it but I booked through a 3rd party and I never saw parking there was an extra charge. With it being a pricey hotel I was being very considerate with not getting any extra charges and came to a conclusion parking was one of them! Also 3rd floor room 424 is too close to bar and kitchen and is noisy.

I can’t review my stay at Viceroy Snowmass as I wasn’t even checked in due to a flight cancellation because of a snow storm. In fact I’m still awaiting a response from this property to see how they can accommodate for us loosing our entire stay without a refund or opportunity to rebook. I’m hopeful and believe in the great customer service they claim that they will respectfully respond with an option. I’m certain they will return my messages as they are awaiting a voting process for #1 hotel in CO. I would love the chance to enjoy this beautiful hotel!

The room was clean but the window was in the direction of the entrance and no drapes. So I had to have the blinds down the entire time otherwise would be completely exposed. This means no view of the outside.

Staying at the Snowmass Viceroy was an exceptional experience. The staff is great, and the restaurant and the rooms were exceptional.

This hotel was a complete mess, first off all when I got my room my sheet had stains and then when I went to sleep at night the air conditioning was not working. I couldn’t sleep all night. The next day I talked to the front desk and they said that they took a look at it and fixed it. But it wasn’t fixed, it was still hot. And then I asked them to check again and they said that they looked at it and it looked fine. But again it was hot in there. I asked again, and then it took them 40 mins to send someone to the room, and the technician said that it is all fixed, and the person from the front desk also went to the room and said the temperature was good. When I went back to the room, the temperature was indeed cold, but what I realized was that they opened the window, and the ac was still not working. Now that seems like everything was fixed but the problem was it was 19 degrees outside, that is way way below freezing, it would be fine if they wanted me to freeze to death at night, or expected me to keep on opening and closing the window. I am really disappointed, especially being charged over a $1000 a night.

My primary reason for selecting this property was the Ski-in/Ski-out feature. Upon arrival, I was informed this access had been unavailable for over a month due to weather conditions. I believe that providing advance notice of such a significant service interruption would have been appropriate, as it would have allowed me to manage my expectations or adjust my travel plans. Furthermore, I encountered some challenges regarding room comfort. When I requested additional blankets, I was informed that none were available due to high occupancy. The linens provided did not reflect the high standard or the premium price point of this hotel. I believe there is a significant opportunity to improve both communication and guest services to ensure the experience aligns with the hotel's reputation and pricing."

Amazing hotel except fatal flaw new bathroom design leaves open glass wall with two ten foot 2” open air between bedroom and bathroom. Don’t stay here with a partner. Period. You sleep in the bathroom. They must fix this crazy design

The staff was great, the food in Toro was delicious. Had an issue with being overcharged at the hotel
