Because accommodation options are expensive and limited in that area, this hotel was okay overall. However, don't book the standard room type; you'll be assigned to the second floor, which is basically a basement. The reception is on the fourth floor, and the pool is on the third—you can imagine how gloomy it is. Also, a staff member at the front desk named Yuki was very unprofessional; avoid this place if you encounter any problems.

Beautiful hotel. Be prepared to be iced out by the staff if you do not tip straight away. For a hotel that costs this much, it was pretty wild to be treated like second class citizens for not handing cash over.

Lovey Stay We had a lovely stay at the Viceroy from the moment we checked in through checkout. The staff was especially wonderful. The lounge served a wonderful dinner and dessert was decadent. We biked for three days through the mountains, down to Aspen. Especially enjoyed Woody Creek Tavern for lunch.

The Vice Roy is my home away from home! I have enjoyed my stay every time and come at least once a year. They are very pet friendly and the staff is amazing and helpful.

The property and the service from everyone were great. We ended up going to Aspen as there are more bars/restaurants to go to. The gondolas at both Snowmass and Aspen are fun, especially in Aspen.
