Atour Hotel (Shanghai The Bund, Old Wharf)

The room layout is well-designed, clean, and quiet, with meticulous attention to hygiene. The front desk service is polite and thoughtful. Overall, it was a great stay, and I recommend it. The convenient location makes it very suitable for business trips.

Had a fantastic stay at Atour! The location is great, really close to the subway, making my commute super efficient. The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of desk space for working. The bathroom had a good wet/dry separation, and the hot water was consistently reliable. The staff were very responsive, always there when I needed something. I loved the 24-hour library; it was a quiet spot perfect for relaxing. The self-service laundry and dryer were a lifesaver, making travel much easier. Plus, the breakfast had a great variety. Overall, it was a quiet and comfortable experience. My partner and I were in town for the WAIC conference, and the location was excellent. It was a quick taxi ride to the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.

This was the worst Atour Hotel I've ever stayed at in terms of service. The staff were unfriendly and had cold expressions. The room cleaning was also very perfunctory; they only took out the trash from the desk. The bed was completely unmade, and the trash on the side table wasn't cleared either. Even worse, when the staff returned my laundry, my socks were missing. I had to proactively call the front desk to inquire before they started to look into it. Overall, the stay was extremely disappointing. From the service attitude and room cleanliness to the laundry management, everything fell far short of my expectations for an Atour Hotel.
