The Shore at Katathani - Adult Only

Absolutely loved Katathani! Even though I didn't get the room number I originally wanted (emailing ahead didn't help, it's really based on availability at check-in), the view from our Oceanfront Love Room still blew me away. Waking up every morning to the stunning blue sea, having breakfast by the ocean, then enjoying a spontaneous spa in the garden, a dip in our room's pool in the afternoon, and finishing with a romantic dinner at Kissing Point in the evening – simply perfect! The hotel staff were all so nice, and the shuttle service was always on call, polite and friendly.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful! We had stunning sunset views right from our room. The service was excellent, very attentive and thoughtful. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, and the private pool in the room was also very clean and enjoyable.

Pros: The hotel's views are absolutely stunning, with an infinity pool right by the beach – it's incredibly picturesque and relaxing. The pool water is remarkably clean, and it's pleasantly warm every evening, perfect for a swim. Breakfast offers a good variety, including a full spread of tropical fruits. However, the selection of simpler dishes is quite limited, which is a minor drawback. Cons: Although the hotel is relatively new, having opened only a few years ago, it's poorly maintained. Perhaps due to its seaside location, our room had a distinct musty smell. Most of the building materials in the room are wood, which unfortunately gives off a strong, unpleasant odor.

What more can I say! With tax, it was only 3500 a night! An absolutely amazing hotel! If you have the budget, just go for it! The best hotel in Kata! So good! So spacious! I went in early July, so it was quite a good deal!

The room was okay, and the service wasn't bad, but the location was a bit out of the way, and the breakfast was pretty average. It's probably popular because of Jackson Wang, as it's fully booked every day. I couldn't even get a late checkout until 2 PM. The room facilities are also quite old. Overall, I don't think the composite score is that high.

The views and service were both excellent. The hotel rooms are a bit dated, but very clean and tidy.

Absolutely stunning sea views, where the sky meets the ocean. The hotel's facilities and services are top-notch. The moment I opened the door to my room, it was incredibly therapeutic. However, you *must* stay in a sea view villa. The coastal view from there is truly breathtaking.
