No. 8 Courtyard Homestay (Daming Lake Baotu Spring)

Pros: 1. The hotel's location is excellent, with a courtyard, a luxurious environment, and ample parking. The service attitude is superb, and it's very clean. We even got a free upgrade to a suite, and each room has a bathtub. 2. Some negative reviews mentioned that water needs to be paid for. I did see the 15 yuan per bottle Nongfu Spring, but you can always ask the hotel for free bottled water. I asked for two bottles and they brought four, no charge. 3. Negative reviews also mentioned a strange smell in the rooms. This time, I noticed silicone covers on all floor drains and an air freshener in the bathroom, so I didn't detect any unpleasant odors. 4. I didn't find the bedding to be unclean, as some negative reviews stated. Areas for Improvement: 1. Things got a bit eerie at night. At 10 PM, the TV suddenly turned on by itself and the volume went to maximum. The remote couldn't control it, and the power outlet for unplugging was out of reach. A staff member came to resolve it after 10 minutes by unplugging it. 2. The light switch control is a bit clunky. It's either all lights on or all lights off. During the day, if you just want to turn off the lights to sleep, the curtains also close, making it completely dark. It would be good to have a small night light and separate controls for curtains and lights. 3. The mattress is very soft; you sink right into it. This might not be an issue for those who like it. 4. There's a red motion-sensor light directly above the bed, diagonally. I didn't know what it was at first, but when I turned over in my sleep, it would light up, and the same happened when my partner moved. It startled me quite a bit. 5. The air conditioning wasn't on, but for some reason, the vent would make a mechanical braking sound intermittently. These issues didn't affect my rest, and I hope the hotel can improve them. I would still consider staying here again next time.

I drove to Jinan and stayed at this hotel. The underground parking is free, and the elevator goes directly to Da Tang. I didn't realize the hotel was right in the pedestrian street! After dinner, it was a pleasant stroll to Daming Lake. There's also a snack street and the Henglong shopping mall nearby. Overall, the location is excellent, and the environment is clean and hygienic.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and charmingly antique rooms. The owner and staff are warm and attentive. Its location is superb, right outside Furong Street and Henglong, and just a ten-minute walk to Daming Lake. It's truly a quiet oasis in a bustling area!

The room was very spacious, and I booked this room type specifically because it had bathrooms on both floors. It exceeded my expectations – even the floor drains were covered with cute lotus leaf-shaped odor-proof mats, and there was an aroma diffuser on the sink with a very pleasant scent. Every detail in the room showed great taste, and the service was five-star. On the day of check-in, the front desk contacted me early in the morning to send me the hotel's location. They also helped deliver food orders right to my room door. The hotel's location is excellent; it's just over 100 meters walk to Furong Street, and through an alley, you reach Qushuiting Street, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. It's also an easy walk, about 800 meters, to Daming Lake and Wulongtan Park. Overall, highly recommended!

The hotel's ambiance and location are excellent; it's a very quiet place in the middle of a bustling city, making for a comfortable stay. We even got a room upgrade. The courtyard is delightful, and the bathroom fixtures are all Kohler. They also provided drinks and water for making tea. The staff service was very attentive; they even gave us mooncakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival and were always responsive to our requests. Parking is also very convenient with an underground garage, and you can take a dedicated elevator directly to the hotel.

The hygiene was exceptional; the slippers I wore for two days were still spotless on the bottom. The staff were also incredibly kind and polite. We booked a family room, which was spacious with a large bed and a big bathtub.

The hotel environment is excellent, clean and tidy, and the service is also very good. I was particularly satisfied with the independent bathrooms on both floors of the loft room! It gave me a comfortable trip!!!!
