The hotel has a large golf course, perfect for a stroll. The pool is great for kids, and there are plenty of other activities, which is a definite highlight. We stayed here to visit attractions like Prambanan, the sinkholes, and volcanoes. Honestly, there aren't many places to explore in Yogyakarta overall. Definitely avoid Malioboro Street – what a letdown! Getting a taxi back from there was a hassle. There's a recreation center with free bicycles, while electric scooters are available for a fee, but it's not expensive. When at the recreation center, try to find a male attendant; the female staff act like you owe them money.

The room itself was pretty standard, definitely showing its age as an older hotel. However, I can't fault the overall hotel environment – the design style perfectly matches the cultural history, and the entire property is beautiful. The dining was also excellent; the pasta would be considered delicious anywhere.

Woke up this morning and was lucky enough to see the volcano in the distance from the observation deck – the view was absolutely stunning. The swimming pool has a lovely Thai-style design that blends with nature, and there are even fish in the ornamental pond next to it that you can feed, which kids would absolutely love.

My stay was incredibly comfortable. The room was clean and dry, with excellent housekeeping, making it a very pleasant place to stay. The hotel's location is fantastic, with convenient transportation options nearby; it was easy to get a taxi and reach all the major attractions. The staff were warm, attentive, and very friendly. The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, and the breakfast offered a rich variety of delicious options. Overall, the value for money was outstanding. Considering the complete experience, this hotel is highly recommended for any trip or vacation.
