RiverTree Resort Chiangkhan

Really nice place. Was here in my Land Rover from Australia, on my SE Asia round trip. Lovely pool, staff super helpful, secure parking for my baby. Breakfast was very average compared to similar place i have stayed in this price range. You can get a taxi into town 10 mins away for a really nice night out. This place probally is not for you backpackers who want cheap as chips, and theres plenty in town for you, but if you want to have a-little bit more up-market, and or have children with you you cant go wrong here at all. If i was on my own 2 feet and 20 years younger. and no Land Rover then i would have stayed in town.

Very very Noisy Hotel. This Hotel is booked by many big Asian Groups which arrived very late with big Busses. They don't care about other Guests and Noise. They make noisy Selfies and Videos and screaming at the pool doesn't matter how late it is. Than you can hear every word from the Neighbours Rooms cause of very thin Walls you hear the TV, Sex just everything. So we sleep very late. We knock a few times against the Wall it needs time before it was quiet. At 6.30 we woke up by very very noisy!!! Loudspeaker. You can hear it in the whole Hotel. Even my Husband with a very deep sleep woke up. It takes over 1 hour before it stops. I went to the Reception and complain about it. The answer it comes from the Walking Street. But it is not True. It is too far away. It was from the Big Bus (we guess) they woke up the whole group by Loudspeaker from the Parking Ground in the Distance!!! these Tourguides may come often. They know all the kitchen stuff well. We are just 2 stupid guest they wanna sleep and pay for it. So they don't care about it When the Bus leave at 7.30 it was quiet in the Room. In the Breakfast Room also noisy Groups with Tourguides they make a lot Selfies that you can hear them in the Room in the 4 Th Floor. one Tourguides spit in Front of my Breakfast Table in the Green. very unsavoury in the Morning. Not possible to enjoy a relaxed Breakfast. Also the Fruitplate full of Ants Cause it not coverd. CAN ABSOLUTLY NOT RECOMMENDED THESE HOTEL
