Batam View Beach Resort

To be fair it was off season. Staffing and activities are very limited. Check-in was great, and customer service was wonderful once you found staff to assist in other areas. Food and drink wait times were longer. Pair that with the limited activities and it was great for what we wanted to do- enjoy the pool beachside and order room service- but don't expect much more than that this time of year. The hallways seemed loud, but you couldn't hear anything once in the rooms. Cleanliness was not an issue, past some shower mildew. Beds were clean and comfy. They smogged for mosquitoes, which was nice. All things come with a charge, but most are negligible. The ability to charge to the room was great and their records were perfect. We had 3 rooms and probably 30 different charges over 2 days and every reciept was accounted for. Breakfast had a large selection and was different each morning, which was nice. The shuttle from the ferry was seamless.

The room was spacious and offered a lovely view overlooking both the pool and the sea, which was definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The resort was also very quiet, with relatively few guests around, making it a peaceful and relaxing place for couples looking to get away from the crowds. We had dinner at the nearby kelong restaurant. While the ambience was romantic, especially in the evening with the sea view, the dining experience was disappointing. There were hardly any diners, and the food did not seem particularly fresh, which affected our enjoyment of the meal. One downside of the resort is that the food options are quite limited, so guests staying for multiple days may find the dining choices somewhat repetitive. Overall, Batam View Resort is a quiet and relaxing retreat with spacious rooms and beautiful views, particularly suitable for couples. However, the limited dining options and disappointing experience at the kelong restaurant leave room for improvement.

Generally clean. Heard they didi some renovation recently. The exterior looks okay. More improvements needed. Amenities is basic. Breakfast okay. One great point is that the staff service is excellent! The paid ATV ride was very enjoyable!

Nice place, clean and white sand beach. However the service not up to expectation and a lot of room for improvement.

The worst hotel experience ever when it comes to service. The hotel management was absolutely terrible. They left us waiting for three hours, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., without a room. They gave us no proper explanation and offered no compensation whatsoever for the delay. And it wasn’t just us. There were around 50 or more guests facing the same problem, and some had to wait even longer than we did. The hotel completely failed to manage the check-in process and showed a serious lack of professionalism and customer service. The hotel was also far from the city centre. Since it was already late at night, we had no choice but to book another hotel in the city centre. This caused us to incur additional expenses for transportation between locations. By that point, we were extremely tired and exhausted after everything that had happened

Loved the kaid feel to the whole place. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Kelong seafood was however a let down.
