Bunk Hotel Utrecht

I didn't add breakfast when I first checked in, and only decided to eat it after waking up the next morning. It turned out the breakfast options were different, which made it more expensive. I didn't sleep well because my room was located between the main entrance and the shower room entrance, so there was a lot of foot traffic.

This is a great hostel! It's a former church, so it has a lot of character. Self check-in was very convenient. The location is excellent, right at the entrance to the old town, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the ladder to the top bunk felt a bit dangerous.

The old church has been converted into shared sleeping pods. I made a mistake selecting the room. These aren't rooms, but stacked cubicles, roughly 1x2x1 meter. I really don't know how they got 3 stars. The positive side is that it's clean and right in the center of Utrecht.

Accommodation in Utrecht is really expensive, and this was the cheapest place I could find that was also relatively close to the train station. I didn't have high expectations initially, but when I arrived, I saw two very fancy outfits displayed at the entrance, and I realized this place was more than it seemed. It operates as a hostel, a bar, and a restaurant, and there's even a study area on the ground floor. A quick search revealed that this place is a converted church, and it's hard to imagine having the experience of staying a night in a church. Since I needed to work, I went to the study area in the evening and stayed until midnight. The restaurant had already closed, and everything was very quiet, creating a truly unique atmosphere. Then, when I woke up the next morning and looked downstairs, the ground floor was already full of people working – so diligent! P.S. Both check-in and check-out are self-service, making it an introvert-friendly hostel. If I ever get the chance to visit Utrecht again, I would definitely consider staying here.

The staff were all very friendly, the environment was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant! I really liked this hotel. I'll definitely visit again next time. The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the train station, and there's a mall nearby. Very convenient!

Beautiful place to stay, great welcome and stunning location. Everyone in the room showed respect. No complaints at all. I'm usually back there in October!
