Great Wolf Lodge Mashantucket

Overall, we had a good stay, but there were a few things I didn’t like. Check-in starts at 4:00 PM, it should be 3pm because the check-in process was slow, many guests had to wait in line and couldn’t get into their rooms until after 4:00 PM. I also felt that the room cleaning and preparation seemed rushed. Another downside was that not every room has a microwave, which I think is inconvenient.

Rooms and grounds were very clean. Food was great. Staff awesome but beds uncomfortable. Needs replacing . But our granddaughter had the best time !!

This was by far, one of the worst properties I have ever stayed at. Way too many people with day passes made it near impossible to move in common and pool areas. My child had a grown man cut in front of her and take her raft to go down, by himself. When the attendant was told, she shrugged. Paper thin walls. Long check in line. Melissa, who checked me in, neglected to program our wristbands correctly, allowing my children the ability to pay at property, instead of myself and my husband. This was after she spent over 20 minutes with the person in front of me (holding up the ever growing line exponentially). Thank god my kids are good and didn’t buy a bunch of stuff. Would’ve switched them, but didn’t feel like wasting another hour of my life. Many parents left their children unattended entirely. Sticky areas EVERYWHERE, that staff simply couldn’t keep up with as they are severely understaffed. Have stayed in Fitchburg for years; never had a problem. Can’t discourage people from going here strongly enough.

Room was immaculate, bathroom, however, seemed cheaply designed and lacked a retractable clothesline to hang wet swimsuits - which seemed very odd given that the main feature of the resort was a waterpark. The lack of adult dining options was disappointing.

We had booked one night for my son’s birthday. For being a newer hotel you would have thought the property would still be in good shape. Our hotel room had marks all over the wall and furniture. Floors still had crumbs on them. When checking in we had to wait in a long line. We did arrive early and our room wasn’t ready (totally understandable). They gave us wristbands and told us to return when we received a text that our room was ready to update our wristbands to let us in our room. So we waited in line, again but then was told by another guest service member that was not true and our wristbands would work-she was very rude. We went to our room (8th floor) and our wristbands did not work. So once again we all had to go back downstairs, wait in line to get the new wristbands. Also it seems as though some of the elevators did not work, always had to wait a while for them. Unfortunately, we will not be back. For the price you pay, I’d expect it to be cleaner and more accessible.

The staff were so great and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.
