Quellenhof Luxury Resort Lazise

I was so excited for our stay here. From planning the reception team were excellent. I must mention personally stefan who also helped us organise transport to and from hotel from Verona airport. He was excellent. Thank you stefan. The hotel was clean and beautifully presented. We received a welcome drink which was nice. Our room was clean and nicely made up for us and our children aged 4 and 6. The food was very good and wine menu excellent. I think if I could add some small improvements I have had whilst visiting other hotels paying similar prices would be addition of small touches. Like complimentary snacks in room either on arrival or early evening post ie turning down of beds and or replacement of water early evening ready for bed esp in this hot weather. That for me would just make it perfect. Our children loved the slides and children area and I think nice as allows space for children to play whilst not disturbing the peace off other guests. Also the taxi to and from Lazise lovely additional service. We loved our stay and really hope to return next year, thank you team for excellent service!

We stayed as a family of four (two kids aged 6 and 8) for 4 nights in July. Overall we absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is beautifully designed, maintained and spotlessly clean throughout. They have packed a huge amount onto the site with a fantastic pool and lake area for swimming, and plenty of sun lounger space for all the guests. Parking is also very convenient if you have a car - the is a massive underground car park with large spaces and you even have a spot specifically allocated to you on arrival. The hotel also has an excellent gym and a really impressive array of spa facilities, although sadly we did not get much chance to use them! The hotel itself is well located toward the bottom of the lake, and the nearby town of Lazise is lovely for a stroll around. There is a free shuttle taxi which will take you in and collect you whenever you want. The highlight for us was the food and dining experience at the hotel - the food really was exceptional! We also stayed at Sonnwies in the Dolomites as part of the trip and found the food at Quellenhof to be superior. The overall ambience is fairly ‘grown up / adult’ - there are a reasonable number of families staying but generally the children are older and well behaved and as there is no kids club, I think if you were coming as a couple without kids you would not have any issues with loud children as there are also adults-only areas. Service throughout our stay was fantastic and we have no complaints - it was friendly, professional and efficient. Overall we had a faultless and very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend!

This was our first trip abroad since our daughter was diagnosed coeliac so food was very important. We contacted the hotel prior to booking to confirm that she could be safely catered for and were reassured that they knew what they were doing. At breakfast, lunch and dinner she ate without concern. There was a separate area at the breakfast and dinner buffet with packaged gluten free options. The serving staff were happy to go to the kitchen to get her fresh items to avoid the risk of cross contamination at the buffet. One evening the dinner dessert was a buffet but our waitress went to the kitchen and had the chef prepare a fresh plate of all the gluten free desserts just for her. It’s easy to get gluten free options on the menu at home but there isn’t always the understanding around the risk of cross contamination. At the Quellenhof they just understood without fuss. We spent most of our holiday enjoying the pools, water slides, play areas and padel court. The complementary shuttle into Lazise was easy to use and always prompt. Our apartment was immaculately clean and in fantastic condition. Two bathrooms are always welcome for our family of 5! We would like to return when it’s cooler to explore more of the local area and wouldn’t think twice about using the Quellenhof as our base.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing team. This resort provides a wonderful wellness atmosphere with many amazing amenities and activities. If you are looking for a resort that takes care of all your needs, I would highly recommend Quellenhof.

From the time of our arrival to departure this 5 Star hotel/spa lived up to and exceeded our expectations. Facilities, restaurants, staff helpfulness, were all exemplary. A truly memorable stay for all the right reasons. Above all I rate their staff’s integrity. I left a valuable piece of jewelry in a robe pocket but it was discovered and safeguarded until I was able to return to collect it. Thank you so much to all staff members - especial mention to Martha on reception - who is a credit to Quellenhof Lasize. Congratulations to a most efficiently run establishment. We would highly recommend it to any persons seeking the very best.

Absolutely amazing hotel!! Stunning place, and the food!! We had half board and was the best food, huge foodies and it ticked every box! Service was excellent, everyone friendly and happy to help. The shuttle bus down to Lazise was great, didn’t matter when you wanted to go through the day you just asked reception and they had it there waiting for you. Same when you got back into Lazise, just ring them and they come to pick you up straight away. Our room was amazing! So clean everywhere, drinks delicious. If you want a luxury based hotel in lake Garda I highly recommend this hotel. So easy to get everywhere from the ferry port in Lazise.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We unfortunately only booked 1 night on our way to other destination in Italy, but we will definitely be back. The hotel is beautiful, food really good and there is an overall amazing atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back for a longer stay.

Quellenhof Luxury Resort Lazise was everything that we could have wanted from a luxury spa hotel. The staff are friendly and warm, and seem to have perfected the art of anticipating your requests before you even ask. The property is beautiful and is very much designed such that you have no need to leave the hotel grounds; there is plenty to keep you entertained on-site. Having said that, it is well situated in relation to Lazise, and we frequently walked the 2km to the old town (a nice 20min walk) even through a free shuttle service was available on call. We hired bikes on two consecutive days (free from the hotel), played padel and used the extensive spa area every day. We were concerned that the hotel and town might have an out of season feel to it in late October, but the hotel was almost full and the unexpected autumn sunshine allowed us to use the outdoor pool area on a number of days. The outdoor heated pool was great, but our favourite was the heated rooftop pool with lovely lake views, which we used at sunset on many evenings. We stayed half board and the quality of the six-course evening meal was exceptional, with at least two choices per course and the added option of ordering off the A La Carte listing if the choices on the set dinner menu didn’t suit. I would echo a comment made by another reviewer who said that you need to choose the pizza as a main course at least once, it really was beautiful. Each course was a nice size, not too large, resulting in an overall ‘full but not overly stuffed’ feeling after desert. Wines were reasonably priced and we tried different local Lugana wines each night. Breakfast was also very good, with an excellent range of well-presented food. The fruit offering in particular stood out for us. If we were to suggest one area for improvement it would be that the hot food we ordered at breakfast (mainly omelettes) did not match the quality of the rest of the food. There was nothing wrong with it as such, it just didn’t get the same care and attention as the other offerings. We parked our hired car in the underground car park, which had a designated parking spot per room and was very well sized (unlike some hotel car parks). Most of the guests were German speaking, with lots of Italians also, so we were in the minority as English speakers from Ireland, but the staff were fluent in English and were very welcoming and genuine in their efforts to make the stay memorable. We would most certainly return to the hotel and would not even consider looking for a different hotel in the Lake Garda area, Quellenhof ticks all of the boxes for us and is a credit to the hotel management and staff.
