Taoxichuan Hotel (Taoxichuan Branch)

The public areas are beautifully designed, very photogenic, and unique. The room is a bit small, but the balcony is spacious. Soundproofing is poor; because of the open-concept bathroom, you can clearly hear the water running from the shower upstairs.

I stayed at Chuanshangxing during my trip to Jingdezhen, and the overall experience was excellent. The hotel's architecture is its biggest highlight, with the architect seamlessly blending the old porcelain factory's industrial heritage with the natural camphor tree forest. The interplay of fair-faced concrete, red bricks, and wooden corridors creates a fantastic sense of light and shadow. Walking around the hotel feels like strolling through an art space – the design is simply exceptional. The guest rooms are adequately sized and well-equipped, making for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a wide variety of dishes and all the tableware being porcelain, a lovely detail reflecting the city's ceramic heritage. However, there's one thing to note: the complimentary travel photography and pottery experience mentioned in the welcome package offer very limited free content. For the travel photography, only 4 retouched photos are included (makeup and styling are not included; I paid an additional 198 for makeup, and didn't rent clothes). If you want the original unedited photos or more retouched ones, there's an extra charge of 60-80 per photo. For the pottery experience, it's just a basic hands-on session. If you want to refine, glaze, fire, and mail your work, the value-added services are quite expensive. We paid 200 for the pottery (excluding shipping). These secondary consumption costs are not low and are higher than average. While the hotel is high-end, so are these additional costs. I suggest the hotel inform guests of these details in advance. If you're coming for the architecture, environment, and breakfast, this hotel is highly recommended. However, if you plan on a more in-depth experience with travel photography or firing ceramics, guests should be prepared for the budget implications in advance.

The scenery is beautiful, and the stay was a great experience. The hygiene was excellent. The breakfast selection was quite rich, and the butler responded quickly. I really liked the pottery gift. It was so convenient that the butler even delivered takeout directly to our door.

The location is excellent, just a few steps away from the Taoxichuan Designers' Weekend Market, and very close to Yaoyuozuo. There are plenty of restaurants and craft shops nearby, perfect for a relaxed trip. The hotel environment is well-designed; even on a rainy day, you can comfortably stroll indoors or around Taoxichuan. Communication before check-in could be improved. The illuminated switch button by the bed, which remains lit even when turned off at night, affected my sleep and could be improved. Overall, this room type is highly recommended.

I chose this hotel for its photography service, and it didn't disappoint. I ended up buying a lot of beautifully retouched photos. The sink in the room felt a bit poorly designed and inconvenient to use. Also, the cleaning lady forgot to empty the bathroom trash upon check-in. Overall, the stay was decent, and the staff were quite nice. The hotel breakfast was just average.

The hotel service was excellent, and the environment was very picturesque, perfect for photos. It was also very convenient to eat, drink, and have fun within the park.

The hotel's location is superb, right within the Taoxichuan scenic area, making it incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and exploring. The complimentary photo shoot offered by the hotel was also fantastic; the photographer was very gentle throughout and even guided us on poses for great shots.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and unique design, with red bricks set against lush greenery, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. We booked a photoshoot with the hotel, and the photographer was excellent at making us feel comfortable, resulting in some great pictures. The hotel itself is very photogenic.

The breakfast was delicious, and the environment was absolutely stunning for photos. The photographer was incredibly enthusiastic, resulting in some fantastic shots.
