We had an absolutely amazing stay at Marmarica Hotel Ras El Hekma, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive, but I have to give a very special shout-out to Gad, Mr. Khaled, the Reservations Manager, and Rey and Samuel from Olive Tree Restaurant. They genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay special and are a huge part of why we enjoyed the experience so much. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was impeccable, and our cabana was unreal — beautifully maintained, comfortable and just perfect for a relaxing stay. The food was another major highlight. The quality was genuinely excellent throughout our stay. We were told that Fairmont has recently taken over the catering, and whatever changes have been made have clearly had a huge impact because the food is now top quality. Breakfast was perfect as well. Although it isn't an open buffet, it has everything you could possibly want, and the quality and presentation more than make up for it. The infinity pool is absolutely amazing, with a beautiful atmosphere and views, and the beach is also lovely. There are some rocky sections, but definitely not the entire beach, and there are plenty of nice areas to enjoy the sea. What really stood out, though, was the combination of the beautiful property, excellent food, cleanliness and, above all, the hospitality of the staff. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. Highly, highly recommended. We will definitely be coming back!

Before we arrived, I called to ask if the Ritza dining and cafe area was open. They said yes. We got there and found it closed — apparently it had shut down the day before we checked in, but nobody thought to mention that when I asked them directly. Second thing was worse. At check-in I asked about half board pricing and was told 2000 EGP per person, kids free. Today we decided to try it, so I called reception again just to confirm. First they said 2000 EGP. A few minutes later they called back and said actually it’s 2500 EGP, but kids are still free. We get to the restaurant and they tell us the complete opposite — kids are NOT free, we need to pay for our child’s meal too. To be fair, the restaurant staff sorted it out and waived the charge, they said they didn’t want us leaving unhappy. That part was decent of them. But honestly, if front desk and the restaurant can’t agree on basic pricing, that’s a problem. We shouldn’t have to argue this out at the table because two departments told us two different things. Also noticed several of the front desk staff weren’t in proper uniform during our stay. Small thing, but odd for a hotel at this level. For what we’re paying to stay here, I’d expect better coordination and a more professional setup overall.

Nice quiet resort. Staff will drive a golf cart to take you to the beach. Huge breakfast if you like to eat. Downside are the flies that gets inside the rooms and fly around while eating at the hotel dining area.

A confirmed, fully paid reservation was affected by the hotel's overbooking, followed by poor communication regarding the refund. Very disappointing experience.

We had an amazing stay. The room was spotless, very spacious, and extremely comfortable. The service was exceptional—everyone on the team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, especially Ahmed, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. The food was delicious and varied, both through room service and at the restaurant. The lagoon is absolutely beautiful, and the hotel’s private beach is very clean and well maintained. It is easily accessible either by golf car or by walk. We truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely love to come back.

What a wonderful place! Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until the day we left. We were warmly welcomed by Mr. Ahmed Gharib and Mr. Ahmed Hafez at reception. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and they provided us with helpful information to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Whenever we contacted reception, the response was always prompt, professional, and courteous. Our check-out experience was just as seamless. The beachfront cabanas are beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean, and equipped with everything you could need. Waking up to the stunning sea view each morning was a real highlight. The beach itself was spotless, with comfortable sunbeds and attentive beach attendants who were always ready to help. The main restaurant, where all meals are served, deserves special mention. The staff were welcoming and attentive, the menu offered an excellent variety, and every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. We also had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager, Mr. Nazem, whom we wanted to personally compliment. His attention to detail, hands-on leadership, and genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience are clearly reflected throughout the property. It is evident that every aspect of the resort is managed with great care and pride. We truly loved our stay and will definitely be returning. Thank you to everyone for making our long weekend so memorable. We highly recommend this beautiful property to anyone looking for a relaxing and first-class seaside getaway.
