Arya Villas Ubud

My first impression was that the hotel seemed a bit dated. However, the wooden floors were sparkling clean. It was a shame that such a spacious room didn't have a desk. I liked that there were large daybeds both in the room and on the terrace. I booked a rice paddy view villa, but the rice had already been harvested, haha. I guess I should have checked beforehand! The staff were all lovely and always smiling, and even though I only had breakfast, the food was delicious! If you take a motorbike taxi, it's about a 20-minute ride to the center of Ubud and costs around 200 yen. There's a free shuttle, but be aware that it only runs three times a day. Apparently, most of the guests are French. I'd recommend it to anyone who prefers not to see other Japanese tourists.

The environment is quiet and serene, set amidst vast rice paddies. It's a bit far from Ubud town center, but the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to attractions, though you need to be at the pick-up point on time. With a private pool, public pool, breakfast, lunch, dinner, SPA massages, and yoga classes, you basically don't need to leave the premises. Our butler, Virnanda, provided excellent service, helping us with every detail. On Friday evening, we even got to watch a traditional Balinese Legong dance performance while dining at the restaurant. It's perfect for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

An excellent villa for a secluded getaway for those who love nature and a peaceful rest. The breakfasts were delicious, and the welcome hour with pastries was also incredibly tasty. We want to come back here again and again.

Magnificent pool with stunning views of the rice fields! Pure relaxation and absolute delight. I highly recommend this hotel.

An excellent option for a getaway from the hustle and bustle, not far from Ubud. Gorgeous views of the mountains (weather permitting, of course!) and the rice fields. Thanks to the staff for their care; we had a wonderful rest and truly enjoyed both nature and the hotel!

This is the perfect vacation spot, a true sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It feels like a paradise, coexisting harmoniously with nature. I was pleasantly surprised to participate in the complimentary morning yoga class by the pool and rice paddies!

This hotel is quite 'wild' – the service is good, but the water quality is really poor! The room wasn't as big as I expected, but the bathroom was quite spacious. You'll randomly find small animals refreshing themselves, and there are tons of insects, so if you can't stand bugs, definitely don't book this place! The swimming pool is very shallow, you can't really swim properly. The hotel's location is also quite remote; it takes 2 hours to get there from the airport, and there are only four free shuttle buses to Ubud. Transportation is quite inconvenient.
