The location is great, just behind the busy Jonker Walk, along the stretch of the Baba Nyonya Museum. Plenty of cafes around. Private parking is available too. Hotel is beautiful and service is great. The breakfast buffet was simple but enough varieties (though no meat item) and quite nice. Room is clean. A bit of issue with the tap in our room though: cold water came out of the Hot, and hot water came out from the Cold, so we had to spend some time figuring out the temperature of the water. I wish they provide hand soap in the bathroom too; we had to use the bottle of body wash to wash our hands. To be fair, there were 4 bottles of mini body wash haha.

Perfect place to stay in Melaka! I love the character of the hotel, its vintage, classic and elegant! Walking distance to tourist spots. Will definitely stay here on my next Melaka trip!

Very convenient location, close to Jonker Street and surrounded by many famous Peranakan restaurants. Great that free parking is provided just about 20m down the street. We can just leave the car and walk everywhere. The hotel is a destination on its own, a must for Paranakan lovers. Rooms are basic but clean.

Full of Nanyang (Southeast Asian) charm! The Singaporean version of 'The Little Nyonya' even filmed some scenes here. The front desk auntie was absolutely wonderful! We took a bus from Singapore and accidentally left our bag on the bus. Our phones only had data, no calling capabilities. The front desk auntie (her name started with 'A', sorry I didn't catch the full name) helped us make several calls to the bus company, and we successfully got our bag back! We're so grateful! When we checked out, it happened to be a weekend with road closures. The auntie even helped us get a taxi and took us out to find the pickup point. This trip to Malacca really gave me so many pleasant surprises. We'll definitely come again!

Was thrilling on our first night, fire alarm at 3am, heard that it was one room on fire, no information from hotel the next day or on the spot, we got to head back to the room 2hours later. The rooms are superb.

I like this hotel, so near to Jonker street, good food, history and shopping. The staffs are friendly and very helpful.The hotel is like a museum, lots of historical items, Melacca history, displays and awesome experience of an peranakan house. I appreciate there is free parking and most unexpected... there are EV charging points. We had a wonderful experience, will be coming back again.

We stayed in room 131 (on the ground floor), and we could smell a very strong stench coming from the septic tank, especially in the early morning. This kept me awake at night.

The air conditioner's outdoor unit was so noisy, and when I told the staff, they seemed clueless. The location is right inside Jonker Street, which is perfect for taking photos in Nyonya attire. Melaka is much better for photos than Penang, and it's cheaper too.
