Palazzo Shedir - the Leading Hotels of the World

My husband booked a room for two nights to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary and my birthday. We had to pay in full at the time of booking and it was non refundable. We received an email telling us that a wedding had decided to change their dates, so now the room was no longer available. What? So they offered us a ‘junior suite’ in one of their 2 other hotels for the same price. I went online and requested to book the same type of room for the same dates. Stay with me……YES IT WAS LESS EXPENSIVE than what we were going to pay. Disgusting. I am going to grab photos of the emails from the hotel to attach to this. Shameful business practices.

My fiance and I had our wedding reception at Palazzo Shedir. It was magical from the start. We stayed at the property for the 6 days we were in Rome and it was magical. Samuels, the GM worked his magic and professionalism from the start. The entire staff Alessandro, Giorgio, Jobin, Enrique and Dianne were all amazing - 10/10 would recommend!

This hotel is unique, I mean stunning unique. The main breakfast hall is amazing, you just cannot stop looking around at all the statues and paintings. Easy 5 stars.

I can honestly say that my stay at Palazzo Shedir was out of this world. From the moment I arrived, it didn’t feel like checking into a hotel; it felt like stepping into a private, aristocratic Roman home. The atmosphere is the perfect blend of historical grandeur and modern intimacy. I stayed in the Chapel Room, and "unbelievable" is the only way to describe it. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience—sleeping beneath such magnificent architecture and artistry made the entire trip feel like a dream. The room was spacious, incredibly romantic, and quiet, serving as a perfect sanctuary in the heart of Rome. The service was impeccable—attentive, warm, and genuine without ever being intrusive. If you are looking for a standard luxury hotel, this isn't it; this is a magical experience. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

This was an experience that you MUST enjoy. I have never stayed in a more beautiful hotel. I felt like royalty from the minute I walked through the door because of the decor and artwork, but also from the staff. They met every need we had. Their service was exquisite. The amenities at the hotel were wonderful. We enjoyed the turkish bath, the steam room and sauna. Our breakfasts were perfecto. I wanted light fare but my son wanted more substantial. They accommodated both. The location allowed us to walk out the door to nearby shops, restaurants and historic sites. All within walking. If you are thinking of staying here please do, you will not be disappointed.

This is one of the best kept secretes in Rome - perfect location, totally unique experiecne and incredible staff. I stayed for a week in both the chapel room and the junior suite. The rooms are like nothing I have ever seen before. The team that run the hotel go out of their way to ensure you have the most incredible stay in Rome.

Amazing - historic palazzo with just 3 to 4 rooms. unique & iconic place- "une merveille", "un trésor" au centre de Roma. C'est un voyage dans le passé. So chic, so perfect . A deep dive in the 16th-17th century with all the best upper class code. No comment can describe how marvelous is the place. Perfect place for couples. We love it
