Hilton Santa Fe Historic Plaza

Hotel was very unstaffed in most depts and service areas. The staff , to their credit, tried their best but are clearly overwhelmed. Poor management by Hilton. What a shame.

Convenient location. Good service. But the infrastructure in the room and pool is a bit rundown and feels more like a 3 star hotel

Perfect location, nice breakfast, and kind reception people.

Staff was helpful and nice. We were given an accessible room, which was okay but the bathroom was weird. Small sink and there was a table to store stuff. No toilet lid. Poor lighting in the room so it was pretty dark even during the day. We had issues with the AC. Somebody came and did something with the vent in the ceiling and said that should make it work. Well, it didn't. We were told we would be given fans but never received any. We ended up buying our own. Easy to walk to many shops and restaurants nearby.

The hotel needs upgrading its getting old, the refrigerator in our room was not cold I found it unplugged. One of the elevators was not working and when it was it has a hydraulic oil smell. All the patio furniture in front of the hotel needs to be replaced its very old and so is the set by the pool. Speaking of the pool it did not look clean nor did the hot tub, it was also shut down for a couple of days. The staff at the desk are not professional we went to the front desk they did not see us standing there, they were using very foul language . There were no managers avaliable to speak with regarding an error on our bill. One thing the hotel needs trash cans they are hard to find and people leave their garbage in public places. The beds are hard and very uncomfortable. Come on hilton you can do better.

Perfect location to walk everywhere. The hotel was super clean, lovely comfy big bed, very friendly staff and convenient parking. Only ‘downfall’ was the a/c is not strong - but reception provided a fan so that was great. Would stay again and recommend!

My car was broken in the the hotel parking lot. The sign says the property is not responsible. Beware! WiFi did not connect. Won’t be going back.
