Dorma Reina Isabel

The hotel is located very close to Avila train station - walk out the main entrance and follow the pavement downhill. The hotel's location is perfect for the quick overnight stay in the town where you can drop off any heavy luggage and then continue on to the historic center and walk the walls or visit the Cathedral. The receptionist was friendly and our room was located on the 2nd floor and accessible by a lift. We didn't have included breakfast in our room rate, but there is a breakfast room and restaurant onsite. There were also many restaurants close by and a park behind the hotel for a morning walk. The room was clean and importantly during the hot Spanish summer, it had a working Air conditioning unit.

Old world charme! What a beautiful hotel! The ladies at reception were a delight and answered all my questions. The room was lovely and spacious. Cleanliness was top notch. Could not fault it. The location was close to the train station and a short walk into town. A supermarket just down the road was also helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to many traveller. I had a delightful stay..
