The Laylow Waikiki, Autograph Collection

This hotel's decor is very Hawaiian-themed, making it a popular spot for many international tourists and influencers. It's located in the heart of Waikiki's busiest district, making dining, shopping, and taking public transportation incredibly convenient. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away. The lobby restaurant/bar features live singers or DJs every night until past 11 PM, and even later on weekends. Because the surrounding area is so lively, I recommend that guests who prefer peace and quiet choose their room carefully when booking.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The view isn't great, being surrounded by buildings, but I could see the Royal Hawaiian from my balcony. The pool was always open. It seems like construction is currently underway, as you can see in the photo, which somewhat diminishes its appeal. However, the rooms were very stylish, and the diner attached to the hotel was delicious and stylish, so I was very satisfied. Another attraction is the various services offered daily, such as free lei making and shave ice. While some people may think that Kuhio Avenue is slightly inferior to Kalakaua Avenue, this hotel has an excellent location, right across from Marugame Seimen and next to the International Marketplace. The staff were all very friendly. There are also Japanese staff members, so even those who are not confident in their English can rest assured!

As expected, the room was cute and I was excited as soon as I arrived. There was free coffee and water, and shave ice every day, so it felt like a good deal. I was wondering how the location would compare to hotels along Kalakaua, but when it came to food, Duke's Lane and Waikiki Market were right there, so I thought Kuhio Avenue was more convenient. There was free coffee in the room, so I only had it once, but the coffee at Hideout was really delicious!
