JQ Ban Loong Boutique Hotel

Considering its location and price point we found this hotel to be an excellent option. Easily within walking distance of the Art and Heritage trails and there are plenty of local food outlets right outside the door. With very clean air conditioned rooms, private bathroom (there is the option of shared facilities) with ample hot water, private parking (included in the price) and a lovely little central nook for relaxing, we were very pleased with stay. A couple of considerations for those maybe expecting some of the 4 star luxuries, there is no fridges or phones in the rooms, no lift (its only one floor if you’re upstairs) and the TV has only local channels. But considering the price and location please don’t discount this hotel as a an option. Having parking, and the ability to walk to all the central attractions, as well as perfectly adequate facilities, this hotel well worth considering. In closing, we would most definitely stay here again!

Stayed from 22-24 April. Booked 3 different rooms thru Agoda website. As we were travelling by train, we chosen this hotel as its location is about 10 mins walk (700m) from KTM train station and very closed to the famous Concubine Lane. Rooms are exactly shown in Agoda photos. Room 103 - Family room - spacious, bunk bed, attached bathroom, clean, window view on back alley, BUT never ever open the window or an army of mosquito will attack your room! Room 105 - Deluxe double - tiny, queen size bed, attached bathroom, clean, NO window. Room 110 - Premium double room city view - spacious, queen size bed, attached bathroom, clean, big window view on front main road. Sadly NO minibar/fridge provided in the rooms. Credit to the staff, the only Chinese lady we saw working on our stay. She is the reception, she is the housekeeping, and she is A to Z. We can't praise her enough, she did a brilliant job. Overall we are satisfied with our stay at Ban Loong Hotel!
