Tortuga Bay

Tortuga Bay really is paradise. I’ve been to many wonderful hotels, but this seems to top them. We didn’t want to leave and spent the time planning our return. Thank you so much for the incredible service.

My wife and I booked the junior suite which is actually the second floor of the villa. This required going up and down stairs which my wife cannot climb. The hotel was able to upgrade us to a suite (bottom floor) so we could relax and enjoy our stay. Punta Cana is paradise and Tortuga Bay Hotel and staff made us feel like friends more than just guests. We have lived out a dream this week and would stay again in a heartbeat.

We have enjoyed Tortuga Bay with our family for 10 years. The arrival process is the perfect way to start your vacation and have a true VIP experience. The Hotel grounds and accommodations are absolutely stunning. The villa is so comfortable and well appointed. The view from the villa across the lush lawn to the beautiful beach and ocean always relaxes us and immediately makes us smile. As good as the facilities of the resort are, it’s the warm staff that make Tortuga Bay so special. Many of the staff are always there to welcome us by name and with a genuine embrace. When we ask our children where they would like to go on vacation each year, they always have Tortuga Bay as a top choice. The 5 Star experience is truly exceptional and one we can’t wait to experience again soon.

Victor, Victor Sanchez, and Lupes at the pool restaurant treated us like family from day one — attentive without ever being intrusive, always anticipating what we needed before we even asked. Every interaction felt personal. Every meal felt special. Every part of the stay felt calm, private, and elevated. The resort has this rare ability to make you feel like you’re staying at your own private Caribbean estate rather than a hotel. Golf carts waiting for you, pristine beaches that never feel crowded, seamless concierge service, and a staff that somehow remembers every preference — it’s luxury without the ego. Tortuga Bay isn’t just one of the best places to stay in Punta Cana — it’s one of the finest hospitality experiences anywhere in the Caribbean. Absolutely unforgettable.

After staying at many resorts over the years, Tortuga Bay stands out as one of the most special properties we've experienced. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Every staff member seemed genuinely invested in making our stay memorable, and the attention to detail was evident in everything from the personalized welcome to the thoughtful touches throughout our visit. What we loved most was how versatile the resort felt. It would be incredibly romantic for couples looking for a quiet getaway, but it would also make an amazing destination for a girls' weekend or private retreat. There are plenty of opportunities to relax, unwind, and reconnect without feeling pressured into a packed schedule of activities. Cannot wait to return!

Everything, from the level of attention to detail, the highest quality of customer service, the ambience and atmosphere, to the friendliness of the staff, was perfect from beginning to end. My husband and I recently spent 5 nights at Tortuga Bay, in late April, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. The setting itself is breathtaking. The natural beauty of the property is pristine and peaceful, with a stunning beach and lush surroundings that make it feel like a private paradise. Our room (a beachfront junior suite with king size bed) was spacious, private and comfortable, with amazing views from the large wrap-around balcony. The Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve, right next door, was a special feature, where we walked through the forest and swam in beautiful lagoons. We rode bikes, explored hidden beaches, and enjoyed a trail ride (and swim!) with horses. Just incredible. The food was another highlight. Every meal felt special, whether it was a relaxed breakfast or elegant dinner. We enjoyed a different restaurant each night (with reservations conveniently made for us ahead of time), and all were wonderful. We especially loved La Yola and Bamboo. What sets this place apart is how special they make you feel, in a genuine and warm way. Staff was always polite and available, and never overbearing. Highlights were the VIP travel assistance, check-ins by embajadores Valentina and Yocasta to ask what we might need, chatting with bartender Angel at the bar, special little extras along the way, a lovely parting gift in our room, and a memorable send-off. Above all, it’s the incredible staff we will remember most, especially Valentina, Angel, Yocasta, Alcedo, Mariluz, Victor, Victor “2”, and Carlos. We left feeling completely relaxed and already talking about when we can return. Tortuga Bay is a rare find — true understated luxury — and we highly recommend it.

We recently spent a luxurious week at Tortuga Bay Puntacana resort. It was magical! The grounds were stunning and impeccably maintained, the accommodations were amazing...spacious, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The service was top notch and every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and attentive. The spa and golf courses were fantastic as well. We loved every minute of it! I highly recommend this resort and cannot wait to go back.

This was one of the loveliest beach properties I have ever stayed and feels like a private island once you are on property. I highly recommend this Tortuga Bay Punta Cana and cannot wait to come back and bring my entire family. The food was amazing and the kids loved the golf cart. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. 5 stars!!!
