Waldorf Astoria Bangkok

Aside from the room being a bit small, which is understandable since I booked the most basic room, everything else was excellent. The service was great, and the gym was also very good. I would definitely stay here again.

Arrived at the hotel at 12 PM, but was told rooms wouldn't be ready until 3 PM. Since my schedule was tight, I told the staff any room would do, and eventually, they gave me a ready room. I'm puzzled why they couldn't have just given it to me earlier. I specifically came for their famous infinity pool, only to find it under renovation. They sent me to a regular pool in an apartment building instead. Breakfast was also in a banquet hall in another building, which wasn't the W A experience I expected. If I had been informed earlier, I would have chosen a different hotel. I expressed my disappointment to the female manager at the front desk, and she offered a brief apology, but that was it. My key also malfunctioned, and they gave me the wrong room number. All the back and forth was truly frustrating. The location, however, is excellent. The bellhops and doormen provided great service. I also want to thank the Ctrip customer service for their follow-up.

The staff were very professional and the overall service was good. The room was quite new. I would stay here again next time.
