Love the quietness of this location, helpful staff ❤️ Spacious room. This place need to promote more, coz is really valued for money.

This is truly one of the most peaceful hotels near Bukit Bintang. I genuinely enjoyed my stay there. The room was comfortable and clean. They kindly allowed me to store my luggage after checkout and retrieve it in the evening without any issues or extra charges. Jalan Alor is just a one-minute walk, with all the pubs, bars, and restaurants nearby. I would definitely choose to stay there again when I return to Malaysia.

Indie Hotel is tucked away in a quiet corner of Bukit Ceylon, making it a great escape from the busy city while still being close to everything. The location is honestly one of its strongest points — just a short distance from KL Tower, about 10 minutes from Bukit Bintang MRT, and only a few minutes’ walk to Jalan Alor, which is basically street food heaven in KL . The room itself is clean, cozy, and very comfortable. What really stood out to me was the bed — the pillows and mattress were incredibly soft, easily among the most comfortable I’ve experienced in a hotel. Everything worked well too: strong hot shower, cold air conditioning, and free WiFi provided. There’s also a mini mart right below the hotel, which is super convenient if you don’t feel like heading out for food or essentials. Overall, this is a great choice for an affordable staycation — especially if you’re looking for a quiet environment without sacrificing comfort or location.

⭐️ 1/5 – Very disappointing stay We arrived at 2:45pm for check-in, but were told it is strictly at 3:00pm. Even checking in just 15 minutes earlier required an additional RM50, which felt unreasonable. After finally checking in, we encountered several issues in the room. The phone was not working, so we couldn’t contact reception. The kettle was faulty, and the fridge was also not functioning. Overall, the experience was frustrating and inconvenient. The location is also not family-friendly, as there’s nothing nearby, making it unsuitable for those traveling with kids. That said, if you’re specifically looking for a quiet place, this might suit you. The bed was quite comfortable. Would not recommend.

So far the location is not far away from bukit Bintang, many pubs and cafes by the street. The room was old and dirty stained on the toilet wall and floor.

Good location, be able to walk to Jalan Alor and Bukit Bintang easily. However, during my stay there was bad smell in my room assumed that from the carpet. My last night, there is some smoking scent which I guess the beside room was smoking and the scent is from bathroom duct. The most terrible thing is that there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Anyway I paid considerably low price, so it’s one of the choice for who don’t expect much.
