The room was clean and hygienic. Although there wasn't much of a view and it was smaller than the hotels in Pattaya, the location is incredibly convenient. ICS Mall and IconSiam are right downstairs, making shopping super easy, though prices are a bit higher than outside. It's also right by the BTS, and you can also choose to take a boat. Since Bangkok often has heavy traffic, taking the BTS or a boat makes getting around so much easier. Even on our last day, we took the BTS to the airport; we didn't have to drag our luggage through the streets since all the transfers were inside the stations. I would definitely consider staying here again. Although it's a bit remote and far from the city center, having the metro right downstairs fits a lazy traveler like me perfectly!
As for the hotel service, there was one day we happened to forget to leave a tip. Coincidentally, the room was cleaned that day, but all the towels were taken away and none were left for us. I'm not sure if they were just too busy and forgot or if it was intentional, but it didn't ruin our mood—we just called the front desk to send up some fresh towels before taking a shower. Overall, we were very happy and satisfied with this trip. We just didn't have enough time to see it all!
