Situated at a stones throw away from Redbrick Warehouse Hakodate and waterfront area. Within walking distance to all the attractions and eateries, but still quite a distance from the train station.

🌱Mixed dorm room directly at the beautiful Hakodate Harbor 💚PROS + Beds are comfortable and offer enough privacy & a locker - towels are provided and changed daily! + shoes are generally kept outside of the room in a shoe shelf & slippers are provided as well + there is a big common room over 2 floors, a cozy kitchen area and an accessible rooftop with a beautiful view over the harbor, as well as 5 toilets, 5 showers, 5 sinks and a double set of washers & dryers + Located directly at the harbor, there is access to boat tours, Mt. Hakodate, the red-brick houses as well as bus stops & the tram! The Hakodate Morning Market & Railway Station are close on foot as well - a quick 20 Minute walk ❤️🩹CONS - no storage space for your bag/suitcase so i had to keep it all stacked out in the open next to my bag - mixed dorm is very big (around 20 or more beds) & everybody is unsure if you can tun off the light, so it’s on 24/7 - the common room had no natural light and was not very inviting to me in general - i spend no time there 🙏 CONCLUSION Hostel with clean amenities, good rooms and good location! There is even a coffee shop/curry shop downstairs

The hostel was very good and neat. They exchange the towels everyday and free toiletries. I loved the location very close to the bay and got the best morning view.

Stay Mid May 2026. Located right in the center of area, Hachiman Slope just at the corner, Kanemori Red Brick just the next block. Walking just 10 min from Hakodate Station. Trem stop only 50 m in front of hostel. The building is super attractive. Amenities are tooth brush, hair brush, razor, night wear, bath towel, face towel. Share kitchen at 4th floor with magnificent rooftop view to the port day and night. It is absolutely amazing stay in here.

Decent location, even if quite far from the station. Comfortable bed. Common spaces not that great. Clean. It might be worth it at the usual price of abour $20, but at over twice that it felt way overpriced! Booked way in advance, too. But it seems that the dynamic pricing is really going strong in japan!

It did what it had to do. A bed to sleep in, a bath to bathe in, hot water during the season, very clean and good disposable amenities to use. For the cost of the stay, its worth it. However its pretty much away from convenience for people who wants to walk around town after going to the area to take your photos. Its a pretty dry part around the hotel except for the Tax free shop which was amazing. Further up nearer to Hakodate station is where majority of the Izakaya and food shops can be located after 6pm

Have been staying here ever since I first travelled in Hakodate, and I have to say it's still as good as before. The hotel is located minutes away from a tram station and just beside the Red Brick Warehouse area. Towels and amenities are provided, bunk room and bed are big and comfortable. Will continue staying at this hotel when I come back again in the future.
