Baanpong Lodge

The hotel is located in Chiang Mai's countryside (Ontai) surrounded by tropical jungle and mountains, about 1 km from Huai Lan reservoir and 30 km from Chiang Mai city. Our room was two-storey loft chalet nestled amidst a lush green garden. It is very comfortable room with living space, bathroom, refrigerator, sofa and television are downstairs, while bedroom is upstairs, and a terrace with seating is in front of the room. Also, there are a clean swimming pool (however, we didn't use it) and retro arcade video games which we enjoyed playing frantically. Restaurant area is on the poolside where we enjoyed super delicious Thai and continental breakfast. Truly relax. Highly recommend!

Wonderful We stayed 5 nights at the Lodge. What a lovely place. The breakfasts were great. Tasty and plentiful. Staff were lovely. We had a room withs stairs to the bedrooom. They were kind enough to change us to a room with no stairs. Beer was great and smoothies great as well. Would definitely stay again. Thank you everyone

Good hotel with good facilities. We had a 'loft' room (mezzanine floor) with the bedroom in the loft and bathroom and lounge downstairs. Very comfortable bed but if you need the bathroom during the night be careful of the narrow steps. Good lounge & TV area with comfortable sofa, tea & coffee making facilities and fridge. Bathroom clean, good size and shower was powerful. Effective air con and a ceiling fan. We also had a seating area outside the room, another plus point! We had a good meal in the restaurant / bar area (both western and Thai dishes were on offer), we chose Thai and were not disappointed though ask them to spice it up! Only problem was that we had to move table as the music was a little loud. Breakfast was very good including the coffee! We didn't use the pool but is was clean and ssfe for children Overall very good stay and would recommend

Great for climbers! Great for climbers. Short drive to crazy horse — the hotel has scooters and good breakfast. Beers and pool afterwards if hot enough.

It's an enchanting retreat that I wholeheartedly recommend.
