Wow, this place was wonderful. We stayed in the Aventino apartment, and it was perfect - like having our own beautiful apartment in Rome. It was fully stocked with waters, beverages, even milk in the fridge, everything you could want in the kitchen, gorgeous bathrooms, comfortable beds. And it was one of the quietest apartment in a city that I have ever stayed in. We had full access to the villa, including the fitness room, the library (I highly suggest getting a glass of wine and sitting in the library before going out at night - you will feel like royalty!) and we even got breakfast - a huge buffet with eggs, prosciutto, cakes, coffee. It was amazing. The location was great - we could walk to the forum in one direction and the trevi fountain in the other. A wonderful stay

La vita è nelle piccole cose...Best I can translate - Life is in the small things. At the end of a 2 week trip to Italy, we had the most wonderful experience for 1 night. We had to get back to Rome to travel home and stayed at Villa Spalletti Trivelli. Let's agree on the easy things - A leafy, quiet, safe and beautiful corner of Rome, steps from Trevi/Pantheon etc, the beautiful building, the reputation. The joy here is in the details and there were so many. First, pulling up in the car - "wow - we get to stay here?" It's like you pulled up to someone's (large) home - hard to tell it's a hotel. Then you have to ring a bell - how cool is that? You are greeted like walking into someone's home - which you are :) You are shown around. Sit for a drink in the parlor. Then you get to go to your room. It's elegant, perfect, understated and comfortable. Then you meet the owner - who loves doing what he does - you can't fake that. We were blessed to shake his hand. OK - then you freshen up. Cocktails in the parlor at 5. It's like the movies - getting together with a small group, catching up on the day, meeting the owner's family (and the cutest child you have ever seen), fixing a cocktail, walking in the garden. It's other-worldly. Then dinner in the dining room. You are tended to with love by the staff. Food was wonderful, wine list thoughtful. Then you take your wine glass and walk around like you are walking around your house (your dream/movie house :)) Then to bed - very comfortable with all the amenities you need. Then you wake, breakfast in the dining room- the lovely staff again. Then you burst into tears because you have to leave and you can't believe you did not stay longer. That's the feel of this place. Yes it's a hotel - but it is so much more than that. You are staying with family who care for you. Tell me where in the world you can find that - and answer is - you can't - except here. We can't wait to come back.

Palatino apartment worked well for our group of 4. They kindly added an extra layer to the pull out sofa padding for the kids. Really great quiet location within easy walking or taxi/Uber everywhere. Super staff. I recommend highly if you are looking for a small hotel hideaway in Rome.

Just returned from our trip to Rome and Villa Spalletti Trivelli was a highlight. Probably one of the best places we have ever stayed. The room was gorgeous, the grounds and garden were the perfect place to relax after a hectic day. The staff was outstanding and the breakfast was great. Also, the early evening DIY cocktail bar was such a treat. The place is beautifully maintained.
