Huangshan Bai Yun Hotel

Fantastic location and the service was absolutely impeccable. I've stayed on Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) two or three times now, and among the various hotels, Baiyun Hotel definitely stands out for both its interior and exterior environment.

We booked a room that included dinner and breakfast. The dinner was very generous, and there was even a performance, creating a lively and festive atmosphere. The hotel is very close to Aoyu Peak, a great spot to watch the sunrise. Catching the sunset from Aoyu Xindao was also very convenient. We took the mini-train up from the West Sea Grand Canyon, which brought us right to Baiyun Hotel. From Baiyun Hotel, we then headed down to Yuping Cableway, making a nice loop without retracing our steps. The hotel service was very thoughtful; they sent fruit, milk tea, and snacks, all of which tasted great. The service attitude was excellent.

On the first day, it rained almost continuously during our hike, so we missed many scenic spots. Even with raincoats, we got soaked, cold, wet, tired, and disappointed. However, as soon as we arrived at this hotel, a staff member named Xiao Ye provided almost one-on-one service. She escorted us to our room, turned on the heating, and thoughtfully advised us on how to dry our clothes and shoes. She also gave us detailed tips for the next day's hike, which became the highlight of our day. It's not easy to build a hotel on a mountaintop, but they were well-prepared with heating, shoe dryers, umbrellas, flashlights, and down jackets. In the evening, the hotel staff put on a performance, and early the next morning, there was a guided sunrise tour. Unfortunately, it was foggy, so we didn't see the sunrise, which was a bit of a letdown for our Huangshan trip. However, the excellent service at Baiyun Hotel exceeded my expectations. If I come again, this will definitely be my first choice.

The room was spotless. We arrived during a heavy rainstorm on our way up the mountain, and a complimentary cup of ginger tea was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The check-in staff were friendly and polite, and they even turned on the dryer for us in advance and showed us how to use all the in-room amenities. They also provided a lot of helpful assistance via WeChat.

I've stayed in many hotels, but I never expected to find the best service at the Baiyun Hotel on top of Huangshan Mountain. A big thank you to Manager Huang Xinghua for his meticulous and thoughtful service. Due to the strong wind and heavy rain during our hike, a few of us were completely soaked by the time we reached the hotel. Thankfully, the hotel had everything we needed, including clothes and shoe dryers. A hot shower in the room washed away all our fatigue. The hotel's buffet dinner and breakfast were also very substantial. They even had Huangmei Opera performances in the evening. It was a truly rewarding experience, high up in the mountains. It's a shame the weather didn't cooperate, and we missed the sunrise. I look forward to coming back next time!

During the spring break, I took my kids to Huangshan to explore the places mentioned in their textbooks. We planned for a two-day trip and chose to stay at Baiyun Hotel on the mountain top, close to Bright Summit, on the first night. Manager Shi Xiaomin, who assisted us, was incredibly welcoming. We had originally booked a standard room in Area B, which was a bit further away, but Manager Shi kindly upgraded us to a standard room in Area A for free. This made it much more convenient for us to catch performances and enjoy the buffet. Manager Shi also thoughtfully provided us with some complimentary wine and snacks, and reminded us about the sunset and sunrise times. Both the adults and children were very satisfied with our stay at Baiyun Hotel. Thumbs up to Manager Shi! 👍🏻

As an older hotel on top of Mount Huangshan, Baiyun Hotel, despite its slightly outdated facilities, offers service quality that is truly outstanding. Its location is also excellent, and in the morning, they even had someone specially guide us to Aoyu Peak to watch the sunrise. Furthermore, the hotel's attention to detail is superb. Although the hotel is old, it genuinely provides a very pleasant and comfortable experience.

Since it was raining during our hike, I was completely soaked. The room was thoughtfully equipped with a dryer and a foot bath, and there was plenty of hot water. I recovered really well in the room that evening. As I didn't want to go out, the butler even kindly delivered soup noodles and fruit pancakes, which was incredibly satisfying! The most fortunate thing was seeing the sunrise over the sea of clouds in the morning – that alone made booking this hotel incredibly worthwhile. I'll definitely stay here again next time I hike Huangshan.
