⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I highly recommend this inn! The owner's service was incredibly thoughtful. They proactively helped us with our luggage upon arrival, which saved us a lot of hassle. They also patiently gave us a travel guide for Pingyao, offering practical advice on attractions and dining, which helped us avoid many detours. The room decor is beautiful, with an antique charm, and it's clean and tidy. The courtyard has a wonderful ambiance. Our one-night stay in the ancient city was extremely comfortable. Choosing this place for your Pingyao trip is a sure bet, and I'd definitely pick it again next time!

The bathroom could use some improvement, specifically a wet/dry separation. The bed linen had patches. There's also room for improvement with the breakfast.

The room was quaint and elegant, nestled right in the scenic surroundings. The service was warm and attentive; they helped with luggage and offered a shuttle service from the North Gate. What stood out, especially upon departure, was how genuinely enthusiastic they were in seeing us off, even gifting us a bottle of aged vinegar as a thoughtful souvenir. Truly exceptional!

The room isn't big, but it's clean and tidy, and the courtyard environment is exquisite! The owner even gave me a map and explained how to get around and what to see! The service was excellent.

The owner is warm and friendly, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful. Ancient scenery is everywhere, offering an immersive experience of the old town's vibrant atmosphere. Whether it's the environment, cleanliness, or service, everything is impeccable. I highly recommend this excellent guesthouse.

The Heping Guesthouse has an antique charm, and the kang rooms are full of traditional elegance. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The service from the staff is gentle and attentive. You can explore all the attractions of the ancient city right outside the door, and even wear traditional costumes for photos, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the unique and refined charm of the ancient city. I highly recommend experiencing this hotel.

The public courtyard perfectly captures the atmosphere of a Jin merchant compound, making it easy to snap beautiful ancient-style photos. The location is excellent, providing convenient access to explore the ancient city's streets, shops, and attractions. The staff are genuinely warm and helpful, proactively sharing tips to avoid tourist traps. It's truly great value for money, and I highly recommend it.
