Cap Rocat, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World

Arriving at Cap Rocat is a pleasure in itself. As you approach, the architecture gradually reveals itself, with each turn offering another detail to admire. The setting on a languet is stunning, and the views across the sea are breathtaking. Lunch at the restaurant on the cliff’s edge was superb. Our grilled fish and accompanying side dishes were freshly prepared, and the quality of the ingredients came through in every bite. A beautiful place to linger over a meal and enjoy the view. We will return.

We really enjoyed our stay at CapRocK. The place itself felt so unique and special, and the sunset we saw while having dinner at the Sea Club was absolutely beautiful. We also loved the breakfast. You just tick your choices on a list and they bring it to your room. Everything looked so pretty and was perfect for taking photos!

My wife and I have visited Spa’s all over the world and have experienced both good and bad. This falls somewhere in the middle. Let’s start with the facilities. The whole place is like something from a fairy tale, and is extremely worthy of the 5 star rating for this alone. Where it lets itself down. 1. The staff do jut enough and aren’t overly friendly or attentive. You are left to your own devices, we weren’t shown around and didn’t really feel welcomed. 2. The Massage wasn’t anything special and didn’t reflect the price. It’s an experience that I’m glad we did, if for nothing other than the facilities.

I had been very much looking forward to showing my friend this beautiful place, which I had remembered so fondly. Sadly, from the moment we arrived, we felt anything but welcome. The attitude at reception in particular was surprisingly unfriendly and lacked the warmth, attentiveness and professionalism one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. Although there seemed to be a large number of staff, we never had the feeling that the guests were truly their priority. The overall atmosphere felt distant and, at times, rather self-important instead of genuinely hospitable. This is especially disappointing because Cap Rocat is such a beautiful place, and the level of service should reflect that. The Sea Club, only the food however, was a very positive exception. The food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Unfortunately, even the excellent food could not make up for the overall impression of feeling so unwelcome. For a property of this level and reputation, I had expected a completely different experience.

Wonderful to return, 9 years after first visit and it was better than I remembered. Beautiful location and views. So peaceful and high level of service. Sea Club was very good but breakfast at the room makes this experience so special. Loved borrowing bikes for the morning. We will return sooner next time.

Food was oily and nearly every course contends some mash or something. Most dishes oversalted an served not hot. Service very unfocused, two times wrong dishes. Pairing winepackage heavily overpriced. Al in all a very poor experiance. Never again!

Amazing experience, luxury setting, Sea Club restaurant was a highlight. Staff exceptional Highly recommend
