Chiang Mai Elephant Friends

There are quite a few elephant accommodations in that area, and some even seem to share the same menu. If possible, I recommend shopping around a bit more. For us, things like elephant wake-up calls all cost an extra thousand or more. The room wasn't very clean, the facilities were outdated, the electronic mosquito swatter was completely broken, and the bathroom smelled terrible. I recommend looking for other places with a more comfortable environment where elephant wake-up calls are included in the price.

An amazing experience! Staying in a forest cabin, getting up close and personal with elephants in a gentle way – no riding, no shows. Just breathing in the fresh air of nature. The kids absolutely loved the full-day activity we booked. The hotel's shuttle service was super convenient. Breakfast was delicious and simple!

We are *********. We stayed in the family room on the bottom floor of R19 on February 19, 2026. During the ***** New Year period, it was great that it cost less than $1000 per person including breakfast. The dinner experience plus the outdoor barbecue was fantastic. The staff were also very fun. The elephant wake-up service in the morning was also very interesting. It cost 1500 baht per room. We gave the staff extra tips and got lots of great photos! 🤣 Because there's a bit of a walk from the room to the front desk, communicating via Facebook message was very convenient.
