Perhentian Island Resort

I am staying at Cabin room for two nights  This room is no TV but with small fridge in it 😊 Air-Cond is working well  Bathroom attached  Found some hair leftover in the bed😅

The room was clean and we get our cabin, which makes it feel like a resort and it’s next to a beautiful beach with coral reefs and fish. This resort is good value for your money

The hotel itself is overpriced and they charge extortionate prices for essentials like water and coffee. A bottle of water costs 10MYR and a coffee 20MYR, while in George Town I paid just 2MYR for both. After sun in the shop is 39MYR, something you could get for less than half of that usually. The sun loungers are wooden with no comfort. The beach is overcrowded during the day due to boat trips to see the turtles, which completely ruins the experience. Breakfast is average, with the best part being the fresh eggs. However, you have to queue and wait as the chef can only prepare two at a time. If you arrive near closing time, there’s no food left. Ants and flies are also a problem. Tables were neve cleaned. I arrived without any running water and wasn’t warned beforehand or apologised to. The water outage lasted longer than expected with no communication. The WiFi is only available in the main area and is poor quality. The reception and restaurant staff were unfriendly. I wasn’t informed about the breakfast time and had to carry my heavy bags up several flights of stairs to my room. This is far from what I would expect for the price. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the beach views were great. But I’d strongly recommend staying somewhere else and coming to this beach to visit.

Bu kadar güzel doğası olan bir tesis ancak bu kadar kötü işletilebilir. Çok yazık etmişler. Biraz bakım ve yenileme ile çok daha iyi bir otel olabilir. Yatak başlarında priz yok. Odada tek bir priz vardı o da yataktan uzakta. Oda temizliği ve restoran temizliği başarısızdı. Plajı ve kumları çok güzel ama oraların da temizliği ve bakımı eksik. Suda çok sayıda köpekbalığı var. Saldırgan değiier ama korkutabilir. Odaların çevresinde ve plajda da asya su varanları dolaşıyor.

If you're coming for the beach, and only for that please do go to this resort. One of the nicest beach in these Islands. Main issues where the lack of pressure in the shower ( cant get rid of the sand ) , the rooms and all of the commodities are outdated. The resort lives of the beach and its reputation. Food is alright, don't expect anything great from this. Taxi boats are mandatory to move around, price is doubled starting 7pm, so when you need to go outside to eat for example. No taxis when raining so be careful to not get stranded on the other side. Happened to us and we had to book a night in another hotel ( which was the best sleep we had our whole stay ) Rooms are decent, bed wasnt cleaned before we came in and was sandy / dirty. Lots of noise coming from the wildlife around the hotel, so if you're expecting a quiet stay, go elsewhere. The beach is very very nice, you can see turtles, sharks and lots of different species of fishes. The whole resort needs renovation. I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5, and that's only because of the beach, the fishes and the sunny weather.

Had a pleasant stay at Perhentian Island Resort. The room was comfortable and clean, with a really nice beachfront view and great location. The scenery around the resort was beautiful and relaxing. Staff service and facilities were generally good. The food was okay — not bad, but there’s still room for improvement in terms of variety and taste. Overall, it was a good experience and I enjoyed my stay.
