Candlewood Suites HARTFORD DOWNTOWN by IHG

Nice hotel for a few days. It’s close to the city center, comfortable, and I would definitely recommend it.

Reclining chair was broken, no extra blankets for a chilly night. Room noise was high even on the fifth floor. Tv reception was intermittent .no nearby restaurants and food supplies in their “cupboard” were unimaginative and meager.

Quiet hotel, great room, hotel is in a shady location but nobody bothered us. The front desk ladies were very nice. Walking distance to the Xfinity Theatre.

Everything was good and the hotel closer to good restaurants

Very straightforward place. Clean and fairly quiet hotel. However walls thin so could easily hear neighbors in their room. The front desk person did not seem interested in putting us in the best room possible. We were put in a room that did not match what we had purchased, but we were in too much of a hurry to rectify.

Room was very clean but had closet door sticking when opening and refrigerator was humming during the night.

I liked that everything was clean. I was very comfortable during my stay. If breakfast was served, this hotel would be perfect but I did have to go out and find breakfast. Small inconvenience but overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will stay here the next time I’m in town.

Not the best location but the room was clean and spacious and the front desk help was good. We would have liked our room cleaned up and towels, coffee replaced but were told they only do that if you stay a week. Otherwise just fine for two nights
