Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund

Stepping into the room, I was immediately greeted by the towering 'Huangpu River Four-Piece Set' (referring to the iconic skyscrapers) outside the window. Sitting on the sofa, the Huangpu River unfolded before me like a dynamic scroll painting. The bedding was incredibly soft and delicate; I instinctively wrapped myself tightly in the duvet. The Aesop pine-scented amenities were elegant and long-lasting, perfectly matching the Waldorf's style. The walk-in closet was well-designed and practical. I had bought some 'Ice Beauty,' 'Goddess,' 'Pink Iron Cannon,' and 'Orange Dream' flowers, and was using the room's trash can as a makeshift vase. The thoughtful Nini noticed and kindly replaced it with a beautiful glass vase. 👍 Aaron and Katrina provided meticulous and attentive service. It was a great 4-day experience. I'll definitely be back.

The old-world charm of the Bund No. 2 building is truly irreplaceable; stepping inside, you can feel the essence of old Shanghai. The location is absolutely amazing – right on the Bund, perfect for an evening stroll to enjoy the night views. The river-view rooms in the new building offer spectacular views of Lujiazui. Our dedicated concierges, Caty and Aaron, were incredibly attentive.

I finally got to stay at the Waldorf Astoria on the Bund as I had wished, and it turned out to be a wise choice. The hotel has a rich history, but what truly exceeded my expectations was the incredibly personalized service. I must give a shout-out to our dedicated concierges, Danny and Vicky; their thoughtful and genuine service made me feel the prestige and warmth that a five-star hotel should offer.

Chose the Waldorf Astoria for its historic century-old building, and the location is absolutely impeccable. Concierges Aaron and Danny were incredibly attentive throughout our stay. The room was fantastic! We brought our two kids to Shanghai for the summer holiday and chose the Waldorf Astoria. Our dedicated concierge, Aaron, was incredibly helpful and enthusiastic, assisting us with our luggage and even giving the kids a small gift. We had a wonderful summer, thank you everyone!

It was okay, but a bit noisy in the morning. From around 8 to 9 AM, there was constant noise in the hallway with people walking around and calling names. I mentioned it at checkout, and the service was good, but I didn't get enough sleep because of the noise, so I ended up going out for a walk early. The overall layout has a very 'old money' feel.

Concierge Finn Tom was incredibly warm and attentive, always greeting us with a friendly smile. The overall service was excellent, and our room was very clean and spacious. We had a great experience, and the location right by the Bund was incredibly convenient.
