The Inn at Stockbridge

The inn is very close to the Mass Turnpike (200 feet?) and as a result our room (Provence) was noisy all night. Bathroom has a very shallow bathtub. Breakfast offered a small cup of watermelon with very little granola and Greek yogurt followed by a choice of eggs or something that they called croque-monsieur. Staff was perfectly nice, but food was dreadful. More than $500 a night was surprising in light of the mediocre experience.

A laid back B&B with nice touches and extremely effective and friendly service. The grounds are nice and walkable couple of acres with enough space to be by yourself if that’s what you want and enough spaces to hang with others if you like. It’s one of those places where you are not sure what you paid and your not worried about it as it was a peaceful retreat.

Yes, the Inn is not inexpensive, but the value is commensurate with the price. I was a bit concerned, given the pre arrival communications which seemed rigid and not very warm. However, everyone we actually interacted with was warm, welcoming and generous. The room (Melville Suite) was spacious, very well appointed, creatively decorated, clean and comfortable. The amenities were appreciated. The breakfast was delicious both mornings. The grounds, even in cloudy, drizzly weather, were beautiful. We would return.

We had an outstanding long weekend at the inn. Our rooms were beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. The innkeepers were very nice. The inn was decorated beautifully for the Halloween season. We’ll be back again. Kevin and Jeanne

We had a lovely stay at The Inn at Stockbridge and would happily return. The first night of our visit we ran into a significant issue with the room. It was after hours and a holiday, but the owners immediately took care of it. Their quick, professional, and genuinely caring response turned a potential inconvenience into an evening where we felt our comfort was their number-one priority. After staying at a few other B&Bs on our vacation, here are a few things that make this inn different: the refreshing eclectic décor — each space has its own vibe, from music and theater to nature and travel — individual climate control in each room, combination door locks, and a full bar happy hour that was a perfect opportunity to meet the owners and other guests (if you wish). The outdoor spaces are beautiful, the hosts are professional, warm, and helpful, and the breakfast was superb. The location is also convenient to all the local attractions and dining. We definitely recommend The Inn at Stockbridge.

This was my 4th stay at this lovely inn. I meet a childhood friend here each time and we enjoy the Berkshires. My favorite room is the Blagdon. It is spacious and beautifully appointed. Gary and Nicole are gracious hosts and all the servers and staff members take the time to provide excellent and personal service. Pretty pool and delicious breakfasts. Coffee and snacks available all day. The location is a stone’s throw from Lenox and all the well known sites of the area, not to mention the excellent restaurants. I love this Inn. Highly recommend it. Worth the cost.

Inn at Stockbridge was wonderful! Room was beautifully decorated with a comfortable king bed and A/C for summer. The breakfasts were generous and delicious. We enjoyed the pool tucked away in the back one afternoon and it was lovely and relaxing. Location is close to many attractions but very private. You can hear some traffic outside sometimes but not inside the inn. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Loved our stay and plan to go back again.

We stayed in July, our third year in a row. We keep coming back because we like it so much. We’ve tried three different rooms and have liked them all. The Inn at Stockbridge has a VERY convenient location, close to Stockbridge, Lenox, Lee, and Tanglewood… and fairly close to Great Barrington and Pittsfield, all places we regularly visit. We love the grounds between the three buildings as well as the wonderful breakfasts. The staff are always very helpful. We find this a very relaxing place to spend some “down time” and plan to keep coming back!

We've stayed at many inns, and quite simply, the Inn at Stockbridge is one of the very best. The rooms are unique, well pictured online, comfortable and very clean. The A/C works well on hot days and the windows open for cool evening breezes. The public rooms are lovely. Breakfast is copious and delicious. The coffee/espresso machine is available 24/7. The pool is refreshing and there are sunny and shady areas. Most importantly, Gary and Nicole are caring hosts. We've stayed many times and are always happy to return.
