Cranmore Mountain Lodge Bed & Breakfast

We were looking for a place to stay for one night on Labor Day Weekend and Cranmore Mountain Lodge was one of the few places that didn't require a minimum 2-3-night stay. Reservations and check-in were all online and around 3pm on the day of our arrival we receive a text letting us know the room was ready. Check-in was easy. They texted us a code to unlock the room, so we didn't really need to speak with anyone at the lodge, although we did chat briefly with one of the staff members upon our arrival, who explained that coffee was always available, as were bottled water and seltzer at no additional cost. Our room was small but comfortable with a queen bed and a love seat with a flat screen TV on the wall (which we didn't use). A window air conditioner was running when we arrive, so the room was a reasonable temperature. After dropping our bags in the room, we went downstairs to enjoy the large deck on the back of the building overlooking the big backyard. It was very quiet there. Next to the deck was a hot tub and outdoor swimming pool and around the corner was a fire pit encircled by Adirondack chairs. On the side of the lodge was a covered porch with comfortable outdoor furniture. Inside the lodge was a big bright breakfast area, a library with books, games and a fireplace and a larger sitting room with comfortable couches, so whether you liked to sit inside or outside, you had some pleasant options. Having lived in North Conway about 30 years ago, I know how busy the place can be. Cranmore Mountain Lodge is on a side road away from the traffic and noise of Route 16, but it's convenient to restaurants and shops. We had dinner at Delaney's Hole in the Wall and it was only about a five minute drive away. Back at the lodge, we built a fire in the fire pit and were eventually joined by another couple with whom we visited for an hour or two. Breakfast is a set menu each day. On Saturday morning it was a yogurt-fruit-granola parfait, eggs cooked to order, sausage, a pancake and coffee and juice. Although the portion was relatively small, you could supplement it with and apple or orange or bread and English muffins which were also available. Cranmore Mountain Lodge was a quiet, comfortable, unpretentious place with an affordable price. After we returned home, we received a pleasant surprise. It was an email with a coupon offering a 10% discount to return to Cranmore Mountain Lodge at a future date. We're already thinking about going back at some point and bringing some friends.

We've been coming up to the North Conway area for years and by far Cranmore Mountain Lodge is our favorite. A true New Hampshire country experience located not far from the busy of downtown North Conway. CML not only offers great accommodations but you get to meet Krista and her staff. They are a big part of why the lodge is so enjoyable. Their attention to detail shows everywhere and not to forget to mention the wonderful homemade breakfast they make daily for guests. Our favorite end of the day from shopping and touring was sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee and a chocolate chip cookie. Visit CML, you won't be disappointed!

This Lodge is near but not on the main road, so it is quiet! We could sit outside and hear the birds without a steady stream of cars going by. We had room 12, with a king size bed and jacuzzi. The bed and linens were very comfy. The water in the shower stayed hot through both our showers. The room itself was well maintained but kept the charm of the original house. Christa was welcoming when we arrived. The breakfast each day was tasty and each day was different. There was coffee, hot tea and water available at all times. There was a common room with board games, The fire pit and pool area was well maintained.

This is the most wonderful B&B I've ever stayed in. Its in a cute old fashioned house with all the accommodations you want. Sauna, hot tub, pool, beautiful scenery, delicious breakfast, hot cookies in the afternoon, coffee and beverages all day, comfy spacious, clean rooms. The best thing about staying here however, is the co-owner Christa! She's the BEST! She's funny and fun to talk to-ALWAYS a smile. Christa makes everything run smoothly and easily and always accommodates your needs. She even told me that the next time I stay there, I can bring my 2 cats. I just have to give her notice when I book the room. You will NOT be disappointed when you stay there. There are many places to stay in North Conway, but if you want a family style heartwarming experience, do to Cranmore Mountain Lodge.

We loved our stay here! Super cute inside and breakfast was so yummy. The innkeeper was so kind and help. Highly recommend!

Room was clean but, very very small bathroom, very uncomfortable bed, flat hard pillows, we left after one night because of the bed. We expected better based on price we paid and description. Breakfast was okay, chocolate chip cookies were good.

The breakfast was so delicious and they used fresh ingredients. The atmosphere made you feel like home. It was so cozy and relaxing.

This was such a cute little getaway spot. The property was pretty, and the food was delicious.
