This villa was a complete disappointment. We booked it hoping for a quiet and peaceful stay outside of Ubud, but it was the opposite. The place was dirty, sheets and towels were never changed unless you asked, and half the time the pool looked like a green swamp. Breakfast was awful, the dishes were dirty, and the whole place smelled unpleasant.
Despite the location being away from the center, it was extremely noisy. There were parties with loud shouting, constant traffic of people, geese and ducks being paraded right in front of the windows, and insects screeching all night. When we complained, reception only said “sorry, there’s a party tonight.” The staff are generally polite, but the owner is completely unprofessional.
To make things worse, communication is terrible. If you try to call or write before your stay, no one answers until the very last moment, and then they tell you they cannot help. I saw in reviews that the owner even refused to refund a booking canceled due to a flight cancellation from bad weather — so always book with free cancellation here, otherwise you will regret it.
Overall: dirty, noisy, smelly, badly managed. Absolutely not worth the money and not a place I would ever recommend.
