Syama Residence and Café

I really loved the hotel. It was very comfortable and convenient. The cafe downstairs and the guest rooms upstairs are perfectly separated, so there was no noise disturbance from below. I'm just waiting for the hotel to confirm that my stay is complete so I can receive my cashback.

This was a very impressive hotel, from the service and cleanliness to the beautiful riverside views from the rooms. The rooms were fully equipped with amenities, and the hotel smelled lovely. If I have the opportunity to visit Ayutthaya again, I will definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean and the facilities were excellent. Although the check-in time was listed as 2-7 pm, you can just mention it to the hotel on Ctrip, and we were able to check in even though we arrived around 8 pm. There were staff on duty.

I must tell others, this place is not suitable for sleeping… Pros: The river view is decent, and the service is friendly. Cons: There's almost no soundproofing, making it impossible to sleep. The floor creaks loudly whenever someone walks on it, and you can clearly hear the neighbor coughing. There are very noisy boats on the river starting at 6 AM. The restaurant next door has live music playing until 9 or 10 PM. We were a group of two adults and one child, and because the beds were too cramped, the staff added a mattress for us free of charge, which they placed on the floor. The mattress was sagging; I wonder if the extra bed would be better if we paid for it. The breakfast was so-so. I feel the price and quality are completely mismatched.

I was a little concerned about the darkness of the stairs leading up to the hotel at night, but other than that I was very satisfied. There were plenty of electrical outlets, which was nice. The view from the window was also amazing.
