Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights and 6 days. We came for our anniversary, and the hotel surprised us with a fruit platter and a plate of sweets. Thank you so much! The front desk staff was friendly, and check-in was quick. The room was spacious with nice, fluffy towels and always fresh linens. There was even an ironing board and iron in the room. My only minor complaints are some dust in the corners of the room and on the shelves, and the vacuuming in the bathroom wasn't thorough enough, nor was the wet cleaning of the living room table. The breakfast food was delicious and varied. There was a good selection, including Indian, Chinese, European, and Thai cuisine. They also had a station for local drinks and tasty coffee from a machine. As for a minor drawback, I did see a cockroach scurrying towards the fruit station. But I guess he was a local just visiting the kitchen to check if the fruit platters were full enough. :)

I was very impressed. 🛌 The hotel might not be very new, but the room was clean and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. 🚙 You can park at Central Ladprao, and then take your parking ticket to the hotel staff to get it stamped. You won't have to pay for parking. 🥙 The hotel breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options.

The facilities were a bit old, but clean, so I had no problem sleeping. The pool was small, but I could use it leisurely, and the water was very clean. There was no machine to inflate the tubes, so I had to blow them up myself, but kickboards and towels were available. The breakfast was also good; the coconut pancakes were delicious, and the freshly made Pad Thai was tasty too. However, the hotel's location was a bit far from the tourist attractions, so I had to use Grab a lot, which was a bit inconvenient. For those planning to use public transport, note that the BRT station is accessible from the M floor.

The room is spacious and comfortable. This is my second time staying at this hotel. The gym and pool are great, and breakfast is also good. It's close to Don Mueang Airport, about a 10-minute taxi ride in the morning.

I absolutely love this grand hotel with its strong sense of history. It evokes a nostalgic atmosphere of the 90s and early 00s, combined with a luxurious and opulent feel that modern hotels simply can't replicate. Despite being an older hotel, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, showing great attention to the bedding quality. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was excellent. The gym is fantastic too! I will definitely be staying here again!

The hotel was super convenient as it was connected to the BTS SkyTrain and a shopping mall. The staff were friendly, and although the room seemed a bit dated, it was clean.

The location is convenient, right next to a shopping mall, making dining very easy.
