The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert

The pool in the standard room is actually quite small, making it difficult to really swim. If you want more comfort, it's better to stay in a tent villa. The hotel's main pool is also very shallow; I can't quite remember the exact depth, but essentially, adults can barely swim in the hotel's public pool. The hotel's safari, however, is pretty good. As for the half-board option (two meals included), I'm not sure it's worth it. For two adults and one child, the normal buffet price is around 750 AED, and it felt like the cost was just added on, similar to if we'd gone out to eat ourselves. Plus, with the meal plan, you can't choose the most特色 dishes at the farm restaurant. It might be better to just book breakfast and then go out for lunch and dinner on your own; the price ends up being about the same. Finally, as we were leaving, there was an incident: my child's bicycle, which was parked in front of our villa, was quietly taken. We reported it to the hotel, but they just gave us a vague, dismissive explanation. I was really annoyed because I had planned to ride the bike to breakfast. As it turned out, I recognized who took it on the way! I have no idea what that person was thinking at the time!
