Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Petaling Street and Kwai Chai Hong. It's directly opposite the popular 'Ho Kow Hainan Kopitiam' and surrounded by numerous Chinese restaurants. It's just over 2km from KL Sentral, making it convenient to catch the airport express train to Kuala Lumpur International Airport in half an hour, or the KTM train to Penang (Butterworth) in about four hours. The Petronas Twin Towers are roughly three kilometers away. The hotel facilities are quite new. The front desk is on the seventh floor, and the staff are very friendly, with some even speaking Chinese. Breakfast is served on the eighth floor and offers a good variety. There's also a bar on the seventh floor with an amazing terrace view, which also serves decent full meals. This is a hotel with incredibly high value for money.

The hotel's location is excellent. I was a bit worried about safety beforehand, but my stay put those concerns to rest. The room arrangement was satisfactory, offering a view of the second-tallest building from the window. I received a welcome card upon check-in, as we had communicated via email, which was a very thoughtful touch.

The room was spotless, and they kindly upgraded me to a street-view room. I could see the 'big brother' sleeping directly from my window, which was a nice bonus! Highly recommended, I'll definitely be staying here again the day before I head back home.
