Intercity Hotel Guangzhou Tianhe Taikoo Hui

I really enjoyed the hotel's recreational facilities; they were perfect for relaxing during my free time. The common areas were quiet and well-maintained, not messy at all. You could tell there was attention to detail in the guest rooms, and the bedding was very comfortable. The overall experience was excellent, and the night view was also beautiful.

The hotel is very new, and the front desk staff, who I assume is from northern China, was excellent in communication. I stayed on the 40th floor, and opening the curtains revealed a view of the Canton Tower. Next time, if I have the chance, I'd like to try a suite on the 50th floor; I imagine that would be quite nice.

The hotel's location is excellent. I was only in Guangzhou for one day this time, and my experience at this hotel was fantastic. I booked it last minute on the high-speed train, and it exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean, and the bed was so comfortable; I fell asleep as soon as I lay down. There are plenty of great food options within walking distance of the hotel. Next time I'm in Guangzhou, I won't even bother looking at other hotels; I'll book this one without a second thought.

The guest rooms are on high floors, offering expansive city views through floor-to-ceiling windows, and some room types even provide distant night views of Canton Tower. The overall design is simple yet sophisticated, with smart home controls throughout and a comfortable mattress. The double-glazed windows provide excellent soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful sleep even in this bustling area. The mini-bar drinks are complimentary, and there's a gym and 24-hour self-service laundry room. Check-in at the front desk is efficient. It's truly suitable for both business trips and city exploration.
