Intercity Hotel Guangzhou Tianhe Taikoo Hui

I chose the voco Guangzhou Tianhe Taikoo Hui for my trip with my child to see a star, and my stay was absolutely perfect! The room was clean and elegant, and the environment was comfortable. The staff were warm and attentive, and very quick to respond to any requests. The location is superb; it's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station and only 4 kilometers from Guangzhou East Railway Station, which is about a 10-minute taxi ride. This makes it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and commuting. The hotel restaurant has a sophisticated ambiance with a rich variety of delicious food. The laundry room was spotless and brand new, with immaculately maintained equipment, making it a pleasure to use. The gym offers breathtaking views, allowing you to gaze at the Canton Tower while you work out – the scenery is stunning and truly enhances the atmosphere. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations, and I'm extremely satisfied. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Guangzhou!

Tactilely, the soft furnishings are skin-friendly, and the dry/wet separation in the bathroom is comfortable and refreshing. Despite being in the bustling city, it's a serene oasis, making for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. The front desk service was warm and attentive, though the breakfast selection could be improved.

I stayed for two nights and was completely won over by the hotel's service! The staff were incredibly attentive, proactively asking about my laundry drying preferences and returning my clothes to the room once they were done – so convenient. The location next to Gangding subway station also made getting around very easy. The front desk staff, especially Qingqing, were thoughtful and enthusiastic, proactively explaining the laundry facilities and restaurant locations. The 24-hour self-service laundry was extremely convenient, and the room was clean and tidy. Definitely worth a stay!

Tianhe City is also less than a 2km walk away, with plenty of food, drinks, and shopping options nearby. The hygiene is good, and since it's a new hotel, there's no unpleasant renovation smell. Breakfast is probably the best you'll find for this hotel category. Drawbacks: First, for an executive room, it's a bit small. While you can see the Canton Tower from the window, the glass isn't very clear, which affects the view. Second, food delivery takes too long; after the rider arrives, it takes about 15 minutes for the robot to bring it up.
